Classic pair of black wool blend cuffed shorts, perfect for layering with tights. Side slit pockets, back pockets with flaps, and button/tabs at waistband with zipper and hook closure. Bought more than a year ago at Bloomingdales and haven't worn them yet.

Banana Republic brown plaid bermuda shorts, size 10

Banana Republic knee-length bermuda shorts in Size 10. These are from Fall 2007. They are brown and tan plaid with a hint of pale blue running through the pattern. The fabric is a medium weight, perfect for fall.

100% cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

These are in very good condition, with no flaws.

I'm letting these go because they're too big for me.

Les Prairies de Paris Silk and Cotton Striped Trouser Fabric Shorts US sz 8

This is the other, and last pair of Les Prairies de Paris shorts I purchased forgetting that French size 2 is actually US size 8. These are from La Garconne. Never worn -- I didn't even remove the tags! (slight wrinkles in photos are from boxing them up for the move...)

Hopefully, my spacy-ness will be your gain.

I think these would have been the perfect shorts -- I think they would be too complicated to alter to my size. The fabric is a structured silk/cotton blend that feels lightweight and amazing.

Two front pockets, tab, zip front. Flap pocket in back.

These are meant to sit lower on the waist, on the hip.

Les Prairies de Paris "tuxedo" Burmuda Shorts US sz 8

This is the second time I've bought Les Prairies de Paris shorts online, on sale, only to receive them and remember that French size 2 actually equals US size 8.

So here I am with some pretty cool, totally unworn bermuda shorts in a dark brown cotton canvas that remain unworn (the wrinkle you see is from folding while in storage.)

(And excuse the "holding-in-front-of-computer-to-take-photo" strategy -- it was too easy to resist.)

The band is satin. There is a rhinestone flower at the hip, which can be removed if you choose. These shorts would look great worn not too tightly, with a pressed shirt.
