Marc by Marc Jacobs Structured Shirt with Lurex Stripes sz 4

Hi all,

This is an exceptionally cool Marc by Marc Jacobs structured shirt made of a medium weight cotton shirting fabric. This is a shirt I still wear on occasion, but after much consideration, I am posting it, mostly to counter the residual guilt from listing a more-expensive-than-usual Marc Jacobs bag recently.

I looked for this shirt everywhere and found it after a good deal of legwork. I love, love, love this shirt, but it's time to share the enjoyment with others. (And I remind myself that there will be other shirts in my life...)

It's very well made and heavy on great details. There is slight shirring on the chest above the bust. The arms are straight with no cuffs. The banded waist, which adds definition -- and which I think is a strong detail -- is snapped shut with cloth covered snaps.

Color: Black with lurex stripes
Size: take note, labeled 4, but I am on the smaller side of things, and I think this best fits a 0 -- at MOST a 2. I think it can be best described as an XS, but check the measurements for yourself. Also, definitely look to see how the shirt fits on me (last photo) for a good idea of how it might fit you. (I am 5'4" 98-103 lbs.)
Measurements:
Length: 19"
Waist (measured flat) 16.5"
Sleeve length 23.5"
Shoulder 15"

Condition and Imperfections:
There was a tiny hole in the back (if you look really hard in photo #3, you might be able to see it -- 5" or so from the bottom.

I stitched and repaired the hole with embroidery stitches, but you might want to have it repaired at a dry cleaner, who will charge $3 at most, and will undoubtedly do a better job.

It is minor and even my non-professional repair makes it near-invisible.

Otherwise it is in very good pre-owned condition. (7.5/8 out of 10.)

Paid: $288
Asking: $32 + 5 shipping (a couple of dollars more to Canada and elsewhere!)

Listing end: October 30, 2009 *leave email/contact info in the comments!
