Earnest Sewn Wide-Legged Jeans

These are great, wide-legged jeans with a mid-rise and a dark wash from Earnest Sewn. They make such a lovely long, lean line on the body with just enough fullness at the leg. I received them as a birthday gift. Unfortunately they're too small for me, but I'll definitely be on the hunt for a pair that fits!

Current/Elliott The Paper Bag Trouser Jeans, size 28

Another birthday gift I received that doesn't fit quite right! These are a really soft pair of 100% cotton trouser jeans with a pleated front, high waist and full leg. The tag reads, "This jean is to be worn cinched at the waist with a belt to achieve the popular 'paper bag' look." Unfortunately the inseam is too long for me and I don't know any reliable tailors in my area to get them fixed. I'm posting them here instead in the hopes that someone will wear them!

J Brand Veruca Mid-Rise, Size 26/27

This is a great pair of J Brand cropped jeans. They are the Veruca wash, and are made out of J Brand's power-stretch denim. I am selling because they are a little bit big for me. I normally wear a 26 in J Brands, and while these are marked 26, I think they could also work for a size 27 b/c of their stretchiness. They are a very flattering wash, and are in good condition. There are some barely noticeable tiny fuzzies by the front pockets though, and they have been professionally hemmed to their current length.

Care and composition: 98% cotton 2% elastane, machine wash inside out

Measurements when flat:

Inseam: 23"

J Brand Heartbreaker in Dark Vintage, Size 27

These are a gently-used, flattering pair of J Brand bootcut jeans. I haven't worn them very much because they are just a little bit large for me. There is a tiny bit of wear on the hems of the jeans (you can see it one of the images above), but they are still in very good condition. They have been professionally hemmed to their current length.

J Brand jeans, size 27/4. The fit is listed as "cigarette". These fit large on me, so I'm passing them on. I paid $120.00 on sale the winter before last. I wore them maybe three times maximum.I wash all my jeans inside out on the coldest setting and air-dry, so they're been taken very good care of! They're in perfect condition. J-Brand jeans, size 28

J-Brand jeans, purchased at the Nashville boutique Posh the winter before last for $140.00 on sale. These are a size 28, but, as is typical of J Brand items, the sizing is inaccurate-- the waist and thighs fit exactly like a smaller 27/4. I'm right between a 2 and a 4, and these fit like a glove. They're very skinny and ankle-cut, so they're a good option for shorter girls. I've probably worn these twice since purchasing them (sorry for the wrinkles! I'll iron them prior to shipping). DEM collective jeans - size 26

This is a pair of DEM collective jeans, probably the finest jeans I've ever owned, in size 26 (true to size, these have a fit like "boyfriend jeans", and could work for a size 27 if you prefer a tighter fit). The craftsmanship reminds me of old 1940s Levi's workwear denim. Details include: Semi-high-waisted, made with organic cotton, hand-dyed with natural indigo, hand-loomed, green contrast stitching on the inner seams (visible if you cuff them), these jeans button up rather than zip. If you're familiar with the (very pricey) organic denim line Sharka Chakra, that organization commissions their jeans from the same studio in Auroville, India where these are made. This very pair of jeans was featured in Vogue India (modeled by yours truly!) in 2009. I have several pairs of these jeans, and this pair was worn only for the photo shoots and a promotional party, never afterward. I am asking $50.00 shipped, though I'll consider reasonable offers. J Brand Love Story bellbotooms - size 27

These are a pair of J Brand "Love Story" bellbottoms in ink, size 27. I bought them for $179.00 plus s/h a year and a half ago. These are some serious bellbottoms, over the past summer I've seen this silhouette popping up on all the street style blogs. As anyone who owns multiple pairs of JBrands knows, the sizing is all over the place. These fit more like a 26 around the hips (they are low-waisted), but are stretchy, so if you're a true size 4 they should stretch to accommodate you within a couple of wears. I have never worn these jeans, so that's only a guess based on my experience with the brand. Better for those who are 5'6 or taller, unless you want to cuff them extremely or have them hemmed.
