Acne Original Trench, size 36

from creatures of comfort

Classic, lovely soft trench from Acne. Rounded collar, dropped shoulders, buckles on each sleeve, two outer pockets and inner breast pocket. The color in the top photo is most true, a very pretty neutral birch shade.

Here's a great description from killahbees:
The trench is a very light birch color and hits at about the knee. What originally drew me to this trench was its soft, rounded lines – notice how smooth and clean the collar is? But what really did it for me was the leather buttons. The buttons are made of brown, buttery leather. In addition, the epaulet detail at the shoulder are held together with snap closures.  Finally, a leather Acne logo is hidden in the back, under the collar.
A classic trench coat is a real investment piece. If you treat it right, it will last you years, and it’s one of those pieces that will literally never go out of style. You can bring it out season after season, and as long as it fits you perfectly, it will look so effortlessly chic.
The Acne Original Trench retails for approximately $650 over at Creatures of Comfort.

I was drawn to this trench for exactly all the reasons listed above. Sadly, I have found I am just not a "trench" person.

Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 18 1/2"; Pit to pit: 22"; Length from the top of the shoulder to bottom hem: 37". I wasn't sure how to measure sleeve-length since the shoulder is dropped (see first picture). The shoulder hem to end of the sleeve meaures 20 1/2"; the measurement from the edge of the collar seam to the bottom of the sleeve cuff is 26 12".

Material: Outer: 73% cotton, 27% linen. Leather buckles and buttons. Inner lining: 100% viscose. Sleeve lining: 65% poly, 35% cotton.

Sizing: I had the sleeves and length professionally tailored so it now fits very much like the first photo above. I'm generally a true size 36 /38.

Condition: gently used but in very good shape. Some normal wear on the the buckles and a few very faint blue marks on the right side of the coat (see pic #4), which aren't very noticeable.  Just had it professionally cleaned.

Originally paid $340 at creatures of comfort; asking $175 including shipping in the U.S.

Listing ends in ten days.
