Zero+Maria Cornejo Alpaca sweater/shrug

Absolutely gorgeous, handknit chunky shrug sweater from designer Zero+Maria Cornejo. Very heavy and cozy and perfect neutral gray, made of 100% superfine alpaca.  Hooded with extra-long sleeves and faux-bone button on the front. A great example of the "cocoon" shape Maria Cornejo loves.

I purchased this on final sale from Creatures of Comfort last year. I love it but I'm not getting much wear out of it. I've reinforced the buttonhole, but otherwise this is in beautiful condition. It is handmade and so has some very minor irregularities, but these were present when the sweater was new. There are no holes or stains.

Size is medium, but I would say it's better suited to a larger small or a smaller medium. Having said that, it has lots of stretch and give and is not structured. (This is why it's so hard to photograph!)

65% silk / 30% cotton / 5% cashmere. Grey with silvertone zipper. Double zip can work from top or bottom. Slouchy style dolman sleeves ribbed from the elbow down. High ribbed funnel neck can be worn up or opened down. Ribbed waist. Two front slash pockets lined with soft knit. Seam detailing down front and across. Worn less than 5 times - in EXCELLENT pre-owned condition.

Size Small but designed with very roomy fit - would also fit a Medium. Measurements: armpit to armpit - 22 inches, length - shoulder to hem 26 inches.

Zero Maria Cornejo gloves

Thin knit black wool gloves. It's hard to show in the pics, but the gloves are knit with a curved shape, and have a line of ribbing up the center of the arm. They are elbow length and have a raw edge opening. They are one size fits all - although I think the fingers run a little on the short side. There is a funky stitch on the right glove near the thumb joint. I've shown it in the close-up pic. It's not a hole or tear, but a loose stitch or something. Not really noticeable but is there. I paid $85 for these on sale at Totokaelo a couple years back. They're unique and well-made gloves, but I just never wore them. Hoping someone else will give them a good home.

Zero + Maria Cornejo Dress. Brand new. I took the tags off because I intended to wear it but never left the closet. 100% linen skirt, cotton spandex upper. Has elastic with rubber detailing along the top so it won’t slip down. Can be worn strapless or with straps. Lovely open lower back detail. Hem hits below knees.

Zero + Maria Cornejo black cardigan. Gently worn. The fiber content tags have been removed. I purchased this at a consignment store. I only wore it a couple times. I think it’s a blend of wool and elastic and maybe a synthetic. Its a stretchy fabric with a kind of pleated texture, it looks a little like ribbing but isn’t. Cool fabric and shape. It has two pockets of sorts. Large fabric covered hook and eye closer at waist.

Zero+Maria Cornejo Hooded Alpaca Shrug

Absolutely gorgeous, handknit chunky shrug cardigan from designer Zero+Maria Cornejo. I just received this yesterday from Creatures of Comfort, and apparently my skin doesn't play well with 100% alpaca. So sadly, I am offering it up here-- it is brand-new with the tag is still on. The size is Medium but I think it fits more like a Small. (I have a 35 1/2" bust and if I button it, it's very snug. (If I kept it, I'd add an elastic loop for the button). However, I think it looks better left open, so the sizing is a little more flexible if you want to do that.

This originally retailed for $789 (!), I paid $214 (it was a final sale and I can't return it). Yours for $185 plus $10 shipping (it's heavy).

Small, black Zero Maria Cornejo purse. Leather and chain. Can be worn across the body. Super simple and great quality. There are little hooks for charms (see second picture) on the sides. Never worn. Purchased NWOT on ebay for $105.

Reason for selling: selling a few things to buy a few other things

Measurements: purse is 7" high by 8" wide. I can fit my regular wallet in it.

Embroidered, multi-strap dress by Zero Maria Cornejo, size 4

Note: The first photo is from Style.com, showing the fit on a runway model; the last two (of horrific quality - apologies; my one body-length accommodating mirror is in an ill-lit area, and I'm using an iPhone) is on me -- this version has lavender-grey embroidery on the bottom, front and back. (The belt in the second photo isn't included with the dress.)

Tropical-weight wool dress from Zero Maria Cornejo. This is a knee-length dress (on both the runway model, who is probably 5'9" - 6'0" tall, and on me, at 5'6") with woven straps that cross across the back of the shoulders, the top of the dress is elasticized, and the front closure leaves a keyhole opening. Very versatile, and work-appropriate with a blazer, but great for going out.
