These are pretty amazing embossed leather boots from Sigerson Morrison. The square-ish shape of the shaft gives it a distinctly 60s feel. When I bought these boots, I was desperate to find a boot in this shape, and the fact that it's sort of a riding boot that can *also* be worn slouchy made it possible for me to pay.full.retail.price.
Long story short, I have only worn them a couple of times, which is such a shame because they're so cool. I'm really trying to rectify some past "undesirable" shopping habits by editing down to a bare, bare minimum. Very hard. (If only you could see the process that I have to go through of deciding before anything even makes it to this blog...)
They come in their original sleeper. If you want, I can send their original box (but for a couple of extra dollars since it's a huge box.)
Sizing: says 8.5 US, but it runs one entire size small. In other words, I normally wear a 7.5 in Sigerson Morrison, 7 in Marc Jacobs, etc. The great thing about these boots is that the shaft is not particularly narrow, as many boots are (hence you can wear them scrunched down should you desire.) Pull on, so no zippers anywhere. Extremely comfortable.
Condition: nearly new. There is a tiny bit of wear on the heel - 2 mm, perhaps.
Heel height: .5"
Opening: 14.5"
Calf widest point: 14"
Ankle: 12.5"
Total boot height, including heel: 14"
Paid: as you might know, Sigerson Morrison boots are insanely expensive. :( These were $680.
Asking: $240 + 10 shipping ($5 more for box, a few more dollars to Canada) Given their condition and original price, I hope you'll think this is a deal as I do!
Listing end: November 13 *leave email in comments, and feel free to ask if you have more questions about sizing.
