Vintage structured suede maxi coat with metal hardware

Amazing vintage structured maxi jacket constructed of a heavyweight brown suede with contrast white stitching and geometric metal hardware. Details include pockets at front and optional corset belt. Fully lined. It appears to be from the 1970s. Incredibly well constructed; they really don't make them like this anymore!

This jacket has no manufacturer label and the size is unmarked. I wear a size 6 and it fits me well; it may also work on a size 4. The bust measures approximately 18.5" flat across, the waist measures approximately 16.5" flat across, and the length is approximately 44" from shoulder to hem.

The condition is great overall, but on close inspection there are many small flaws in the suede. These include a minor cut in the suede (see close-up picture of jacket front); some areas where the suede has slight discoloration (see close-up of hem); and places where the suede has been rubbed over time, such as the collar and cuffs (see close-up of collar). Overall though these issues only add a minor level of distressing as they blend in pretty well with the jacket, giving it a beautifully worn appearance. Sold "as-is."

Such a great one of a kind jacket and a total statement piece.

Asking $220 shipped within the US.

Listing ends 07/16.
