This is the older version, without the pocket at the top that you'll find on the current j.crew website.
There's a spot where the furry wool has thinned out a little, so that's why the thread is visible. It's tiny, and not noticeable when worn-- I only realized it was there when inspecting the coat closely before listing. I've included a picture, and it's unfortunately of rather shitty quality because my iphone is the only thing I have to take pictures.
