Worn only a handful of times but still in great condition. Washed once on gently cycle and air dried. The dress is made by Madewell's in-house label Broadway & Broome and is made of 55% cotton and 45% linen with a 100% cotton lining in the skirt. Madewell describes it as "With it's structured, retro shape and faded stripes, this style somehow manages to be both easy and polished. Translation: a closet miracle worker." It's a great dress and I really love it on other people but it just doesn't feel like me. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in dresses and went with my larger size per Madewell's recommendation.

I am a 4 or 6 as well and liked the way the 6 fit better. I think it's supposed to have a little bit of a more relaxed fit. Hope that help!
