This is a pair of handmade and hand beaded leather sandals purchased at the Slipway in Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania. I have worn them once the entire time I've had them, which I think is a real shame. Beautiful construction with no fastenings--just a beaded band and a stopper that goes between your first and second toes. Leather soles with imprinted design on the edges. Bottom of the foot has a vibram/rubber-like material so you won't have to take them to a cobbler to enhance their durability.
No size marked, but suitable for 8 or 8.5
