Striped chambray shirt designed for a Korean brand called Machja, size small. The photographs do not really show the excellent textile on this shirt. I interned for the design company in India where this was created and designed, and I can attest wholeheartedly to the fact that this shirt is 100 percent organic! The blue fibers have been dyed naturally with indigo, and the fibers are entirely sustainably grown and farmed. The "white" stripes and collar/cuffs are undyed natural fiber, and are an off-white color. The cuffs are a little overly long and come down partially over the hands (at least on me). Note: local villagers were hired to weave and dye this item, and they are compensated well and receive health benefits, which is practically unheard of in small Indian villages, so this shirt comes with lots of good vibes! This very shirt was featured (modeled by yours truly, bizarrely; third photograph is an outtake from the shoot) in Vogue India in the fall of 2009.
This shirt retailed for approximately 90.00 USD. I am asking
$40.00 inclusive of shipping in the US, though reasonable offers are welcome. It will be pressed prior to shipping. Please email katie at katiekentuckychambers@gmail.com with questions.
Listing ends a week from posting date.
