Item: This top is really incredible! Pink silk , vintage French label Ungaro Parallele, bow at neckline, drop sleeves, and buttons all the way up the back, with a cropped, boxy fit...this cut is totally in again. Oh, and did I mention that the silk fabric has little polkadots woven into the material, and a gorgeous vibrant coral, teal, line green, fuschia and black floral printed all over it? I mean, it's really the whole package. I bought this giddily imaging wearing it with high waisted, wide legged jeans or a black bodcon skirt. It's a size 12 in euro vintage sizing, but because of the boxy cut and the drop sleeves, it's forgiving and easy to wear like a plain tee. I fit a 2/4, and while it works on me, it could easily fit a 6/8 as well.
Why I'm posting it: I bought this top in a vintage shop in the city about 6 months ago, planning to wear it constantly through the spring and summer, but I haven't brought it out of the closet once. In the end, I guess as much as I love it, my style doesn't lean in the direction of pink enough and floral enough.
