Item: I adore the linen jacket by french label Agnes B -- it is so wonderfully French in aesthetic, with its scalloped collar and pockets. The ecru linen feels beautifully soft and yet rustic against the skin, and the mother of pearl buttons make it so beachy. This piece is perfect to wear over a sundress on a weekend at the shore, or with dark denim jeans and a cami while shopping in the city. The jacket has an easy, slightly boxy, but close to the body fit that falls to the hips, and bracelet length sleeves. The cut is similar to that of a jean jacket. The linen has a nice stretch to the weave. sigh....
Why I'm giving it up: I was given this beautiful piece as a gift about 2 years ago, and while it doesn't have its tags anymore, it is in never-worn new condition. It's a size 40, which I think translates to a US 8, but I am a 2/4 and because of the stretchy nature of the linen weave, I think this piece was cut smaller than average. I would say it would fit a medium or 4/6 best. I love this jacket, but I've just never worn it and it deserves its day in the sun!
