I am listing 2 pairs of Acne Hex jeans. One is called "Dicash" - cut from a very soft medium weight denim with slight fading on the thighs. The other pair is in "Pure" wash - a light to medium blue wash jean with minor fading detail in a medium weight denim. Because of their light treatments, they are good for denim purists. Back pockets are nice and plain.
From the Acne website: "Hex is a mid rise, straight legged skinny jean. The contoured waistband gives the perfect fit over the back. Made in stretch for a great fit."
below: Acne in "Dicash" wash. No whiskering, light fading on thighs.
below: Hex in "pure" wash. A very, very light whiskering and little fading on the thighs.
below: although one never prefers to call attention to one's backside, i felt it important to show that this style of jean works (reasonably) well for the peculiarities of the Asian backside. (I am referring to a lack thereof in my case.)
Materials:
98% cotton, 2% elasthane
3/1 right hand twill
medium weight denim cotton
Measurements: label says 25/32. These run true to size in Acne, which means that they are equivalent to a size 24 in most other brands of jeans. 25 Acne = 24 7 for all mankind, habitual, R13, 23 or 24 in J brand and Current/Elliott (And measure, in reality, 27-27.5" flat across the waist.)
Waist: 27.5"
Hips: 34" measured flat, unstretched
Rise: 8" - Acne Hex has a higher rise than its newest relation, Kex
Inseam: 34" (I always tuck my hems under because my desired cuff length changes daily.)
Hem opening: 13"
Condition: both pairs are in excellent pre-owned condition. No rips, stains or tears. The Discash have been worn more, but benefits because the denim is now lavishly soft. The "Pure" pair (light blue) has been worn less than 5X.
Paid: $299 + tax @ Stel's Boston
Asking: Each $75 + 5 shipping ($8 more to Canada.) $135 for both + $10 shipping, $22 to Canada.
