My favorite Mociun print: "Fake Batik" Print Tulip Skirt Tie-Front Dress SMALL

Mociun "fake batik" print Tulip Skirt Tie-Front Dress, Small -- MY FAVORITE MOCIUN PRINT

Hi all,

You know I love my Mociun dresses! There are so many great prints that I feel that life would be less fun if I kept mine for years rather than experiencing as many as I can. This Tie-Front Dress with Tulip Skirt is the same size -- small -- as the one I sold before that, and still somehow, it's a tad bit longer. I suspect because there were so many complaints about the short skirt - short enough to make a stranger's day, if you were 5'5" or more. I am 5'4" with relatively short legs and I had no problem with the skirt. The main thing, though, was that I simply didn't care all that much. My cotton underwear is not particularly exciting.

Though I was glad for a longer skirt, I didn't know that it would mean that the rest of the proportions would be increased, too. So, this particular dress was too big. Although the fabric of the "fake batik" is so much more comfortable -- it's thinner and thus more easy to tie and manage than the Ikat of the dress that I'm wearing above and that I sold, I'll leave the old measurements up so that you can compare the measurements.

About Item: Mociun "Fake Batik" Tie-Front Dress in size Small.

Color: Black and White Print, spider lines and paint blotches.

Material: 100% cotton.

Condition: Excellent because it's a tad larger than is my preference. Still if you are my size 32-25-34/35 you'll find that it will be perfect to wear as a fall dress: with tights and a cardigan!

Measurements of IKAT dress: Measurements of Fake Batik Print Dress:
dress shoulders: 16.5 " shoulders: 17"
total length: 29.5" total length: 34" (wow) - measured from back collar
hem opening: 18.5" hem opening: 36"
bust: 36" (with knot tied reasonably tightly)
waist: 30"

Why am I letting it go?: See above: want new print this season, and this version was slightly larger than previous ones, in particular the length of the dress.

Paid: $290

Asking: $120, plus shipping

Listing End Date: Sept 9, 2010

please leave your e-address *and* paypal address in the comments section if you're interested in being included in the random drawing. thanks!!
