SOLD Pappagallo boots 1980s in cognac brown leather
SOLD TO LUCKY WINNER, MissScientistSF
Vintage tall cognac leather Pappagallo boots. I won these on ebay last year--on the prowl for those vintage flowered flats Pappagallo is famous for--but find them a little too small for my left foot in the toe cap region. Wish I could wear them! These would fit a 6.5 better, or a narrow 7. Made in Italy, probably in the 1980s. Beautifully constructed--check out the stitching and rich tone of the leather. In great condition and barely worn (and certainly not by me). Hard to find boots of this quality now for an affordable price (and, of course, these are super affordable). The soles and heels are already reinforced. There's a small scuff on one boot and a watermark on the other. Barely noticeable. Will be the perfect go to boots for fall. A natural with opaque tights and the Shaybelle dress below, and any other tunic/smock style dress--from Toast, Aubin & Wills or Wiksten, for instance--or with skinny jeans tucked into them w/ tunic style blouse on top. They exude quality and timeless stylishness, and will also look great with APC, Steven Alan, Isabel Marant, etc., without costing nearly so much as those labels.
Paid: 45.00 + shipping
Asking: $40.00 + shipping
Marked a size 7, but more appropriate for a 6.5 or a narrow 7
14.5" top to bottom of boot
9.5 " foot (but with a toe box that narrows off)
3.5 " widest portion of foot (below toe box)
Leave email address in comments section if you are interested. Winner will be selected in random drawing on September 13
