Banana Republic Slouchy Boyish Wool Pants (Good for Work)
Hi all,
It occurs to me that as we head into fall, there are many of you out there (I hope) starting new jobs. As it happens, this is the year that I have finally come to terms with the fact that as an academic I'll never have to wear a suit ever again. So here on TGE, let's hope the twain shall meet and some of you will be able to assemble work appropriate outfits from the remnants of the wardrobe that got me through two "grown-up" jobs without having to deplete your savings.
Item: Banana Republic Pinstripe Wool Flannel Pants
Description: These are great Banana Republic pants that wear a bit like boyish trousers. When I worked as a buyer at a schmancy boutique department store, the buyers much more advanced than I and who wouldn't dare wear anything less than Lang always asked "who made those?" of these pants. (For some reason I've not been apprised of, within certain circles, clothing is made, not bought -- that, apparently, just screams of mass production and is just vulgar.) They've been so dependable and indestructible that I'll miss them...and these pants allowed me to get away with wearing loafers everyday at work.
Other details: pockets in front, 2 buttoned pockets in back without flaps.

Measurements:
Rise: 10"
Waist: 26" (sits high on waist -- measure the most narrow part of your waist)
