[Sold!] 2010 APC Lightweight Cotton Linen Fall (or Spring) Hooded 'Parka' Sz XS or P brand new

APC Lightweight Cotton Linen Fall (or Spring) Hooded 'Parka'

Hi all,

APC puts out a version of its hooded parka each season; this version is the lightest with a light lining that isn't padded. The gorgeous texture of the cotton linen and the "tomato orange red" has me thinking about layers and layers of knits that I'll wear come fall. I bought this (at full cost) earlier this season for travel to places where the nights are a little more chilly than they are here. When I travel to the West Coast in the summer, for example, a sweater or cardigan never does it, and I find myself pining for a jacket just like this. It's perfect for traveling since it is so light. However, I decided to pack another jacket I'd picked up, and I never had a chance to use it this season! So rather than letting it go to waste, I'd like for someone else to daydream about a fall equipped with this Indian summer (nights?) parka...

Details: Roll-tab sleeves. Raglan sleeves. Ruched details at shoulder and back. Button front with 4 buttons at top and the last two hidden under the covered placket. Two large pockets in front. Fully lined in Bemberg/Cotton.

Color: They call this 'Coqueicot Red.' I think autumn leaves and tomatoes covers it (the color is most accurate in the first photo. It has a very warm orange undertone to it rather than a red -- much more complementary to most skin colorings.

What I'm wearing with the coat: I thought you might be curious because I occasionally post them, or in this case, have posted what I am wearing in the picture. I'm wearing wide-legged Balenciaga Le Dix Pants -- I had posted a black pair on the TGE that required a simple zipper repair. (No one took them....) And I'm wearing Clements Ribeiro wood heel sandals with a vintage Lanvin scarf from my bigger-than-it-ought-to-be collection.

Materials: 54% Cotton / 46% Linen Outer Shell
51% Bemberg / 49% Cotton Lining.

Measurements:

Shoulders (raglan) approximately 19 1/2"
Bust: 19 1/2" = 39"
Sleeve: rolled 22"
Length: measured from center of the back of the collar 27 1/4"

Size: XS

Condition: Brand New. Tags from Barneys still attached.

Paid: $310 + 10+% Chicago city tax. Ouch!
Asking: SOLD!

Listing end: August 20, 2010

What a gorgeous color, and just my size. I'm thinking this would be the perfect companion for some upcoming overseas trips... I'd love to buy this from you if you haven't sold it yet. I know this is less than you are asking, but would you consider selling this for $160? My email address is katiekentuckychambers@gmail.com. Maybe we can work something out!
