Sven Shearling Boots from No. 6 in Soho sz 38 (37)

Hi all,

I bought these boots a month ago -- these Sven boots from Soho boutique No. 6 are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've never worn clogs, so I started out as a doubter, and I was converted, very, very quickly.

But here's the deal: I started wearing them around the house. Our house is cold and I would just wear them inside, all the time. In fact, I think I wore them outside at most four times. For this reason -- because I want more practical shearlings clogs to wear indoors -- I would like to sell these so that I can buy the shorter pair, which will be easier for indoor wearing.

The plus side, however, is because they have been worn indoors in the majority, with the exception of a scarcely visible scuff on the right heel, there is no wear on the shoe. The aviator leather, as it ages, cracks a little more. I have tried to capture this in the last photo, but Audrey in the shop told me to expect it and that it's a natural process and it's not something you can even see unless held up in the light. (It really can't be seen in the photo, actually.)

These are the Shearling Leather Aviator Boots -- you can see them on the No6 home page for $415 + shipping.

Condition: there is light darkening on the underside of the sole. That's totally expected. The light cracking on the aviator leather surface, I've already mentioned. They are in excellent condition -- to be expected from boots that have been worn indoors, mostly.

Size: 38. I wear size a true size 37. The 38s are very snug on me. They recommend at the store that if you wear 36.5 to 37, you should buy the 38s. I, however, feel that I could even go to 38.

One thing to note: I had these custom cut. They are the standard boot in all respects expect for the height. I had them cut so that the shaft of the boot is 14.5" tall (making the total boot, including 2" heel, 16.5") rather than the standard 15" so I wouldn't recommend these for anyone taller than me (I'm 5'4"). (I didn't want the boots cutting into the back of my knee.) The rest of the boot is standard. It is 14" at the opening. 13" at the calf and 12 1/4" at the ankle.

They don't come with a box since I used the box to mail a parcel, but I can include a sleeper bag of some sort if requested.

Paid: 415 + shipping
Asking: 365 + 10 for shipping. A little more to Canada.

Listing end: feb 28. Please leave paypal and contact info, as well as question in the comments. Thanks!
