(sold) Etoile by Isabel Marant Sweatshirt Styled Alpaca Wool Blend Sweater sz 0 (runs large)

This is an Etoile by Isabel Marant sweater I purchased two summers ago at the now shuttered Hejfina in Chicago.

It's a thin sweatshirt styled alpaca-woo-nylon blend sweater that is a spring or summer weight knit.

It's great for layering, or wearing by itself in the warmer months.

Knit band at hem and cuffs.

Size: labeled 0, but see my notes below. I believe it fits a US 2 best, or a 0, if you plan to use it as a layering piece. Length: 21"

Condition: very good pre-owned condition. I wanted to point out that this sweater the way the sweater has been knit gives it a "nubby" texture after hand-washing. As such, the sweater has to be ironed at low heat after drying. Or you can simply take it to the dry cleaner.

The second photo is to show the surface of the sweater. The way the material of the sweater is knit -- because it is baby alpaca -- makes the surface slightly fuzzy. This is how alpaca is. It is *not* pilling (while we are on the subject, there is no pilling on this sweater.) So, don't be alarmed when you get the sweater! The fuzziness is simply native to alpaca fiber. (And I know my alpaca -- I have worked/lived in the highland Andes, where there is a surfeit of stuff made of alpaca, for 11 years now.)

Finally, there was a tiny hole in the cuff of one sleeve (2 mm). I mended it, and you can't see it unless you look veeeery carefully.
Why I'm passing this sweater on? Strangely, it's always been a little big for me although it's a size 0, the smallest size. My dress form is a size 2-4 34 B and it seems to fit perfectly.

Paid: somewhere around $200.

Asking: $65 in the US. More to ship elsewhere.

Listing end: February 19, at which point I will draw a name randomly! Leave email/paypal in listing. Thanks!
