I bought this skirt several seasons ago. I loved the vintage shape and the folk-style cross stitch embroidered design so much. But I guess I just never had the right occasion, or the right top to pair with it, or maybe both, but I'm sad to say it's been hanging in my closet since the day I got it.
Details:
Full skirt, with two pleats on the front and two symmetrical pleats on the back. Has a great shape, flattering and very classic. Concealed zipper and button closure at the side. 100% cotton with acetate lining (fully lined). Cotton is medium weight, with just enough stiffness to give it a nice drape, but not too stiff that it feels fussy or uncomfortable. The fabric is actually a very subtle diagonal stripe of pale green on tan, but unless you are very, very close, it just looks green. Bright pink embroidery adorns the front hem. Sits low on the waist, and hits just below the knee on me (I'm 5'8").
