SOLD !! Staerk black pencil skirt

Gorgeous black pencil skirt by Danish designer Camille Staerk. I pounced on this in a sample sale (paid: $100) because it was on a Size 4 rail and then never wore it because it was too big (I'm at the lower scale of the Size 4 range-- more a size 2, but can fit a size 4 as long as it's small). It's actually more of a size 6, or at least on the upper scale of a size 4-- see measurements below.

Made from heavy, matte, stretchy satin (material: 47% nylon; 50% cotton; 3% polyurethane ), this is the COOLEST pencil skirt I have ever seen. I know it's a gamble to buy a pencil skirt without trying it on, given how self-conscious we ladies are about our hips, butts, etc, but trust me, the cut of this skirt is incredibly flattering. It does wonders for the waist in particular!

It would look great if worn pin-up style with a voluminous blouse, or sleek and noir-ish with a tight body-suit, or minimal and paired down with a simple tank. Endless possibilities really.

The front part is 25 inches long (knee-length approx) and the top lip of the waist band rises to just below the rib cage. It is impeccably tailored around the abdominal area with two little tucks and some boning, so the holiday food-baby may be comfortably accommodated yet artfully concealed. The waist band curves down at the back to sit at normal waist level and the back of the skirt is shorter than the front (20").

I'm not sure if I'm describing it well...see pics to get a better idea. Though the pictures don't do it justice either because the dress-form that it's on is very small.

Unstretched, the waist is about 13 inches across (measured side to side, laying flat). The hip measurement is about 17 inches across (measured side to side, laying flat).
