Dear all,I searched high and low for these Miu Miu woven heels because I have a matching clutch that I absolutely love. I finally found them on eBay in my size (37). They arrived, and I loved them, but I discovered upon wearing them around my own apartment that they run a half size too big for me. As a result, my feet were sliding down in them, dislodging the insole piece. And in any case, this was during a time when I was happily deluding myself with the idea that I could even wear anything with a heel higher than 2 3/4" (conclusion: I can't).
As much as I want to keep these shoes, it's ridiculous to own heels if my back doth protest so. Even if it matches my clutch.
The shoes are very much in pristine condition with the following exceptions that in the interest of full disclosure, will be pointed out here:
As I noted earlier, the inner sole needs to be glued down better. You could also simply add a sole pad to cover it. There is a minor nick on the left heel half an inch from the heel point. (see top photo.) No one will notice this. And now that I see the photo, it appears that the heel point needs to be turned, like, 10 degrees. I align it before sending the shoes out.
The entire shoe and heel is leather. The top is made of beautiful woven leather, which is so, so cool.
Size: It is marked a size 37, but I think that it runs a half size large. As you can see from the outer sole, it's only been worn in my own apartment, once.
Heel height: 3 5/8"
Inner sole measurement: 10 1/8"
Will be sent in its original sleeper bag.
