Retails for $800 approx. Bought last year on Gilt for $250.
7 pockets altogether. Two on the outside at hip-length. Two at lower chest level (pea coat style). All the outer pockets are zipped. There are a further three inside that are buttoned.
EXTREMELY warm! Warmer than a Northface, but a LOT more stylish.
Cocoon-like shape. Measures about 33 inches from base of hood at the back to the hem.
Raglan sleeves.
Enormous hood with huge faux fur trim (though people did not believe me when I protested that it was not real fur because it looks so lux and foxy).
Totally vegan: 100% Nylon shell; 100% poly fill; 100% cotton lining inside the coat (nice touch-- you never feel remotely "sweaty" when you wear this, unlike other puffy coats which are nylon-lined inside); 100% rayon lining in sleeves.
Perfect condition.
Size Small but would also fit a medium, due to generous cocoon-like styling.
EDIT: I keep discovering new things about this coat that I hadn't noticed. First, it was the fact that it has 3 inside pockets-- didn't notice them until I inspected in order to give full description for this post. Now, it's the fact that the faux fur trim on the hood can be zipped off (though, I don't know why you would want to zip it off-- it's so dramatic with it). All these details are fairly standard for Helmut Lang. He takes the simple, functional pieces and injects them with style, detail, and, above all, cool. I would keep this coat, but I don't have room for it in my closet thanks to some recent acquisitions.
Asking: $100, plus $10 for US shipping.
First come, first served. I can have it in the post today!
