Great Vintage Leather Jacket with Hood XS-S

Hi all,

This is a great vintage leather jacket with -- a rarity -- a fully hood in matching rust colored leather. I am actually trying to pare down my coat and jacket collection. As improbable as it may seem, it *is* possible to have to many of them.

Details:
-banded cuffs and waist
-great seam details in the back
-ruched detailing at shoulders and two front pockets
-HUGE, i.e., functioning and useful hood
-fully lined

Measurements:
Shoulder: 15"
Bust: 34"
Waist: 29"
Sleeve length: 22"
Jacket length: 18"

Condition: very good vintage condition. There is slight wear at the expected corners, though not significant. There is some wear to the lining. There is a small cut in the jacket below the left bust that is .5" -- you can see it in photo #3. (I think it must have happened during my move...) Still, I think it's reasonably minor and does not in any way detract from the jacket, so long as you don't mind it. In any case, I've taken it into consideration in the pricing of the jacket. The leather is sturdy and in great condition for its age. You will have many, many years of wear from this jacket.

Why I'm letting go of the jacket: I think it's time to let someone else enjoy the jacket. And my closet is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to jackets.

Paid: $65 at a fancier vintage boutique in Chicago.
Asking: $40 + 7 postage ($5 more to Canada)

Listing end: November 12 -- leave email in comments!

That is my dream jacket. Seriously. I once tried on one much like it, at my hometown thrift store, but couldn't afford it (this was high school or early college and I was broke and dumb). I have been wanting to get a leather jacket but have been too sad about the memory of the perfect hooded one to really appreciate any of the ones I've seen for sale new. I hope I win!
