Develop by Philip Lim Moleskin Overcoat with Stand Up Collar Sz 2
This is a fantastic coat by Philip Lim from the days when he was designing for the company Development. I'd read about him in Vogue, and when I found that his designs at Joyce, the fancy Hong Kong boutique, I was pretty excited. (I hadn't been able to locate them in the US.)
This coat is totally reminiscient of Helmut Lang. It's cotton moleskin with a stand up collar, features a covered placket, single vent in the back, three interior buttons in the stand up collar, four buttons on the cuffs, two pockets on the left side and one on the right. It's completely lined in a black cotton.
In terms of the fabric weight, it's very much a mid to late fall coat rather than a winter coat.
This is a really fabulous coat I think someone will *love*. It's very narrow cut -- the best thing about shopping in Asia is that I don't have to get anything altered! It's especially good for those of you who are small boned have difficulty finding winter coats that don't overwhelm your frame.
Styling notes: I added a final photo in which I am wearing a huge funnel knit collar/scarf -- I recommend doing something similar if you have such a scarf.
Condition: very good pre-owned condition. Will be dry-cleaned before being sent -- I factored dry-cleaning into the price I'm asking.
Color: very dark navy blue.
Measurements: 15"
Bust: 34 (can accommodate up to a c cup as my busty dress form could attest)
Length: 34.5"
Why I'm giving this up: going minimal. Also, sadly went from four closets for myself to one large closet shared with a partner.
Paid: $380
Asking: $125 + $8 for shipping
Listing end: November 14 *leave email in comments!

looks gorgeous! What is the material? thanks!
Hey - "moleskin" refers to a cotton fabric that has a plush feel. I hope that helps!
