French Connection Distressed Leather Boots, size 6.5-7

Versatile French Connection black distressed leather boots. The color is more of a dark grey. They are labeled a size 6, but they definitely run large. I wear a 6.5 in Frye with medium weight socks, and these fit larger than that. These boots will fit you if you're a 7 or if you're a 6.5 and wear thick socks.

The heel is 1" high and I've had the soles professionally redone with a rubber tread (great for winter). The top of the boot was also professionally modified to be cut straight across (see second photo). There was another inch or so above the top that I had cut off because my legs are short. Hence, the word "connection" without the "french".

I'm selling these because I have other boots that fit me better.

Measurements:
1" heel
12" shaft
10" from tip of toe to heel, measured on sole (the sole sticks out a little from the leather)
13.25" top inner circumference
3.75" across the ball of the foot (good for wider feet)

Imperfections:
There is wear on the heel.

Costs:
Paid $252 from Zappos + another $40 or so in alterations, asking $50, includes shipping.

Listing End Date:
August 14, 2009
