My mother bought this for me at Harrods (London) in 1997. I was thrilled and then was too nervous to actually use it. I am loosely using the term "vintage" to describe this, but it's the sort of thing you might see in an upscale consignment shop.
I think you could wear this in a number of ways to tone down that it's a "logo" bag. For example: wear with summer sandals or ballet flats and a wrap dress with a nipped waist in crisp, white cotton shirting.
Color: rich red. The red is nice - not too bright, nor orange.
Material: Suede body, enamel metallic buckles, leather handle.
Measurements: 9" x 11" x 4". Handle is adjustable -- from drop of 8" to 9.5"
Condition: It is in really excellent condition. No marks, etc. The interior is pristine -- black nylon canvas with red leather trim and zipper. The only wear is on the bottom, along the edge. I have tried to show this in the last photo. In all other respects, it could nearly pass for brand new.
Why am I letting it go?: I have finally come to terms with the fact that not using it is a waste. I am sure someone out there would enjoy having this bag! I also have had difficulty giving it up because my mother gave it to me.
Paid: I recall that we paid $650 for it.
Asking: $90 + shipping ($10)
Listing End Date: 10 August. Please leave your email in your comment!
