Laundry by Shelli Segal Strapless Dress, size 2

Laundry by Shelli Segal strapless dress from Spring 2004. I've worn this dress once (got tons of compliments), for the occasion which it was bought, and have held on to it all these years without having another opportunity to wear it. It's a very flattering and comfortable dress because of how the stripes are pieced together and there's a lot of give in the material. It's an interesting design, but at the same time, it's classic.

Measurements:
chest- 16"
waist- 12.5"
length- 30" (approximate average length from top to hem, as the hem is assymetric)

Note that the material is very stretchy. I measure about 34" around the chest with a bra on, and 26" around the waist, and the fit was fine. You could probably go a little bit larger in both measurements.

Details:
Black and white striped strapless dress in a 92% Rayon, 8% Elasthane jersey. The black lining throughout the dress is 100% polyester. It's machine washable! The material is substantial and has a great drape. The top edge has an inner elastic, and there's a side zip on the left side. The skirt is wide and swingy after the paneling on the torso.

Imperfections:
I did cut out the lingerie straps as it was hard to keep them tucked in.

Costs:
Paid over $200 full price, asking $70 $50 $30, includes shipping.

Listing End Date:
June 30, 2009
