Electric Feathers Convertible Circle Dress, Size Small [SOLD]

Coveted Electric Feathers convertible circle dress in black cotton gauze. Vee can be worn in front or back. Shoulder cut-outs, draped skirt, and hidden side pockets. Comes with stitched obi belt that can be tied in a variety of ways. Fabric is lightweight -- it looks fairly sheer in the photos, but surprisingly opaque when worn on the body. Elbow length sleeves can be worn rolled as well. New with tag! Top photo from Stuart & Wright; rest are of actual dress for sale. This is the ideal frock for those hot summer days -- can easily be dressed up or down.

Loose, easy fit. Suitable for sizes 4 to 8.

• Gorgeous infinite bridge dress by Electric Feathers.
• 100% silk habotai in a beautiful copper color (second photo is from Electric Feathers lookbook) It has a beautiful lustre, a little matte and not too shiny
• Dress is OS (one size); very comfortable and i believe can truly fit all sizes because of adjustable convertible nature; for your reference, i am a size small
• Electric Feathers is a wonderful designer in NYC (http://electricfeathers.com) In addition to a Soho store shared with Aesa, Leana Zuniga's designs are sold at Mariam Nassir Zadeh, Totokaelo, Stuart and Wright, Jumelle. Leana is known for designs that drape beautifully, never go out of season, and which are convertible in some way. The stuffed-cord straps of this dress can be worn a number of ways. Electric Feathers doesn't go on sale very often. Really rare and timeless! I dreamed about this dress for so long and really saved up for it. It's hard to part with... but unfortunately I spend every summer in places where this dress is not practical (think Muslim) and am going on a year-long backpacking trip this May. This dress has only been worn once!! It's in perfect condition. It would make me happy if I can find someone to cherish it in my place.

Afternoon Tea Dress by Electric Feathers

Foolishly purchased from La Garçonne this week (citing Claire, Drunken Sale Shopping - DSS, http://lolaisbeauty.blogspot.com/2010/01/dss.html), I am disappointed to say that that the lovely Electric Feathers Afternoon Tea Dress is far too small for me.

The dress is black and size Medium.

Here is the description from La Garçonne, minus the nonsense about it being "true to size" (it's not):

Afternoon Tea Dress by Electric Feathers. Slightly sheer gauzy dress with pleated skirt & a removable half-moon shaped tie belt. Wrap front with low v-neck & snap closure / Short sleeves / Slit pockets at sides / Removable tapered tie belt with topstitch detail / Knife pleating at skirt waist / Slightly sheer / Slightly relaxed fit / Color: Black / 100% Cotton.

It was originally $562 dollars and I bought it for $282. I will sell it for $250 plus shipping handling in US or Europe.

Unfortunately for me, while lovely and as-described, the sizing is misleading and it should really be a Small. I really think it would fit a size 4 or a petite 6, and it should be sized Small (I'd hate to see the size Small version of this dress). A small bust would be a plus for this dress.

(for reference: I am generally size 8 across the board, or an occasional size 6. I am 5'7." I either wear a Medium or Small in all other labels.)
