Sunshine and Shadow Tie-Dye Silk Scarf [SOLD]

Lovely silk scarf by Sunshine & Shadow. Soft, substantial washed silk in a purple and dark charcoal grey colorway. Rolled edges. In excellent condition: The only "flaw" I see is a slight irregularity in the fabric just above the logo (see second photo, though it was sort of tough to capture). LD Tuttle "calfskin push heel boots," size 38

LD Tuttle "calfskin push heel boots," size 38 with a 3 1/2 inch platform heel.  They're quite versatile and cute because they have a velcro strap at the top, which allows you to wear them slouched down or pulled up.  I always got compliments when I wore them out.  With that in mind, they've only been worn about 8-10 times because they're a little too small for me.  There are no major scuffs, tears or stains.  The calfskin leather is super soft, almost like suede. 

I don't have the box but I do have the dust bag.  They retailed for $700+ and I bought onsale for $400.  I'd like to sell for $250, plus $15 for shipping.  I am usually a 38.5, so these are definitely true to size.  I bought them in Spring 2011.

[SOLD] LD Tuttle The Foam ankle boots, 37.5

Gorgeous, comfortable ankle boots from LD Tuttle in popular style The Foam (she's produced this style several years in a row now).

Made in Italy, all leather, chunky stacked 2 1/4" heel; shaft is 5" high. Back zip and two snaps across the ankle. Leather sole. The color is a beautiful neutral dusty olive green-grey, called Drab. Basket-weave detail around the back.

Size 37.5, fits true to size and is very comfortable.

I'm selling because I went a little ankle-boot crazy this past year and need to pare down. I bought these in July and have worn them maybe 5 times. Their condition is excellent; a little creasing at the instep and normal (minor) wear on the sole and heel.Very clean inside and out, and they have been treated with a stain and rain repellent.

Retails for $600; I bought for a bit over $200. Asking $150 plus $10 shipping in the U.S. Will ship in original box.

I've had these ankle boots for a few years now and have stubbornly worn them with two sets of insoles because they are just too big for me (I normally wear a 6-6.5). They were the last pair available and I loved them so much that I decided I could make it work. Amazing details like the signature LD Tuttle curved heel and pebbled matte leather. Zips up the back, and super comfortable (even in the wrong size).    A very sturdy, solid, well-made shoe. I have the box but it's reallyyy big so unless you want to pay more for shipping, I'm going to ship without it. 

(On the off hand that someone has these in a size too small, I would love to make a trade...)

Thigh high boots with a flat sole for an effortless feel. Can be worn over the knee or pushed down. Geometric leather paneling. Elastic facing at upper leather panels. Extended outer ankle zip. Naturally processed leather with distressing and variations in texture and color. Leather sole and insole with rubber piece at heel. Hand made in Italy. Black. Size 41.

Previously worn one time and in excellent condition. They still smell like new leather! The only wear is to the sole and it is minimal. Includes original box and dust bag.

I wear a US size 10, which usually translates to a size 41 for me. I found this style to have a generous cut for a US size 10, but I prefer to size up one half-size with boots anyway so I can add an insole for support. The insole measures approximately 10 7/8" in length and the heel measures approximately 1" in height.

Retailed for $800+. Asking $400 shipped within the US.

LD TUTTLE 'The Rising' Flat Sandals 9.5/10 sz 37 (good for US 6.5 to 7)

Sizing notes: Sz 37 I am a true US 7, EU 37.5 in more expensive brands, 37 in Marc Jacobs, etc. These were extremely comfortable - however, they would work just as well for a US 6.5 since the ankle strap is adjustable.

Why am I selling such an otherwise great pair of sandals? I am not generally a self-conscious person, but I am about one thing: my feet. The story was linked to a bad 7th grade experience, name calling and an association made with a primate. And somewhere in the South, a neurosis was planted.

I have tried over the years to wear somewhat more revealing sandals: the idea was, if I could just get the right sandals, voila, I would be cured. I was wrong. I searched high and low for the right pair with which to attempt my last effort. At last, this pair of LD Tuttle sandals were spotted. I'd recently had a good experience with a pair of boots, purchased at Stel's in Boston, so I returned looking for a pair of summer sandals.

These seemed perfect at first. I wore them out once to a hotel to meet with a friend, who had a conference there. And then I discovered that I couldn't stop thinking about my feet. Perhaps, when I reach 40, I'll get there. For now, another expensive effort.



Condition: they have been worn to a hotel, guys. That is hardly day-tripping the cobbled streets of Rome. As such, there are no scratches to any part of the shoe, no wear to the insole and the precise amount of wear you'd expect on the outsole. I would rate them a 9.5 since you would probably wear them out more in an hour outdoors than I did meeting my friend indoors.

Fabrication: Leather uppers and soles. Strips of leather with strategic patent strips twist in a tie and fall over the top of the foot. I never saw these sold elsewhere, nor did I ever see them on sale.

Asking: $300 -- LD Tuttle, at least the good stuff, rarely goes on sale. Shipping $15 in US w/ box, $9 without. $30 outside US with box, $18 without.
