from Vestiaire de Jeanne website
Slightly avant-garde but lovely shirt dress from French cult brand Le Vestiaire de Clé (now Vestiaire de Jeanne). A traditional shirt dress with collar, buttons all the way down the front, narrows slightly at the hem. Made of a medium weight charcoal wool blend fabric with the tiniest bit of stretch and is unlined. Long sleeves with no cuff. Just below the knee length. Beautifully made.
The cut of this dress is deliberately "crooked" to give a sexy disheveled look to a conventional dress. The dress can also be buttoned to look straight but will fall a little differently, while still looking very cute (one armholes are slightly asymmetrical). VdC did a collection with a "crooked" and "straight" version of each piece. I originally ordered the "straight" version from France, but this arrived by mistake and I decided to make it work. It's been worn a handful of times but no more, in great condition with no holes, tears, or stains.
Size: T1 (French sizes 36-38), fits sizes 6-8 (didn't measure because of the particular cut)
Condition: Excellent (could use an ironing)
Color: Charcoal grey
Made in France
Asking: $70.00 shipped in the U.S., outside of U.S. contact me.
Thanks!
