Flowy Silk Summer Dress Size Small

Pretty silk patterned dress by Castle Starr, a seemingly now-defunct brand that was sold at Shopbop, Barneys, Neiman Marcus, etc. Has wonderful details: side zipper, gathered sleeveless straps, deep v-neck with pleated fabric for the bust, a shirred empire waist and then a pleated bottom that hits just below the knee. I wore this dress to a bunch of weddings but I haven't gotten much use out of it lately and I thought someone else could use it for a late summer wedding rather than pay $$$ for a new dress. It is definitely in used condition, hence the low price.

Material: silk.

Color: Three shades of dark blue, forrest green, off-white, and a bit of black.

Size: Small, best would fit a 2-4 with a 34 bust. There's no product tag, but it measures 43" in length, 13.5" across the shirring at the empire waist/ribcage, 14" from shoulder to shoulder, and 15.5" from pit to pit.

Condition: Pretty good used condition. The zipper is a bit wonky, the seams near the empire waist are slightly strained, and there are a few barely noticeable marks that blend in to the pattern. Overall definitely has life left.

Paid: $100 at Century 21 a few seasons ago; Castle Star dresses seemed to retail for $400-$500.

Asking: $25 including shipping.

Listing ends: August 17.
