Bought this on impulse in San Francisco and have worn it twice (and never in the rain even!). An excellent fall coat by 3.1 Phillip Lim, but doesn't make it into my coat rotation to justify the cost, so off to LoGe it goes. The last two pictures are the actual coat for sale.
Designer color: Tan.
What I love: 1) That you can completely button in and button out the fur lining. There are buttons and button holes (unseen from the outside) that all you to do this. 2) That the lining has sleeves (note: non-fur lined) but that you can zip them off too; meaning: you have a 2-in-1 coat with the coat and a long fur vest. 2 for the price of 1, can't beat that. 3) All the fabulous details: the two-way zipper; the quilting on the collar when you flip it up, the buckles, the buttons! There is so much to comment on.
Size: On label: 4.
Price: Retailed on net-a-porter.com for $995, went on sale for $696.50. (now sold out). Yours, including shipping, for $425.00. I'll gladly entertain fair offers, as the coat is in very good condition. PayPal preferred.
From net-a-porter (where the 1st five pictures come from):
Stone cotton-blend trench coat with detachable button and zip-fastening rabbit lining. 3.1 Phillip Lim trench coat has epaulets, a hook fastening at neck, a wind flap at front, exposed gold asymmetric zip fastening at front, a buckle-fastening fabric belt, button-fastening side-slit pockets, buckle-fastening tabs at cuffs and is fully lined. Fabric1: 44% cotton, 39% polyester, 17% polyamide; fabric2: 100% rabbit; lining: 100% rayon. Specialist clean.
Measurements: 39" in length; 18.5" from shoulder to shoulder and 21" bust. A bit of an exaggerated fit, as you can tell from the pictures. The seam on the shoulders doesn't match the model's actual shoulder. Definitely a borrowed-from-the-boys fit, if you like that, and I happen to love it!
Listing Ends: 11:59 p.m. Sunday, October 14.
