LoGE is moving to Instagram (thegeneraleconomy)

1. Fast fashion posts will be deleted immediately at the discretion of the editors (Erica and Carissa (cupcakewalker)
Examples include pieces from H&M, Forever 21, Gap, Old Navy, Express, American Apparel (this is not an exhaustive list).

2. Pricing guidelines: Don't ask for more than you paid. If it's a current season item, I usually offer at least a 30% discount. Any posts that seem profit-motivated will be deleted. If it's obviously worn or more than 1 year old, I offer at least 50-60% discount of the paid price (not the original price).

3. I will only list 3 items per seller at a time

4. If you don't leave your contact info in the comments, you will not be eligible.

5. Only serious buyers, please! The buyer has 1 business day to pay or make arrangements.

6. If you have participated in LoGE in the past and would like to help me post items, please email me to make arrangements using a shared gmail account.

Angela Serratore please respond!

ANGELA SERRATORE, please contact me regarding all my previous e-mails. I have not received the Frye Jane 14L boots I already paid for via PayPal on May 27. Please contact me at genevieve(at)enth(dot)net immediately with some kind of response (tracking # and delivery service used especially!) so I can stop acting paranoid about being possibly ripped off. Thanks.

i'm not Angela, but I really hope you get to the bottom of this. This person hasn't gotten back to you in over two weeks?! That is just not right. I hope/think Paypal is able to help you if this person is a fraud.

Contact PayPal or the credit card you use with PayPal & fill a stop payment re. this. Good luck, what a pain in the arse.

I would dispute it on your credit card first, then dispute it on PayPal as well. Credit card companies are great about taking charges off immediately if you file a complaint. But do it quickly!

@all: Thank you so much for the advice and support. In all the years I've been on LoGE, *never* has this happened. Please be careful out there--it's just too easy to get swindled online. LoGE is such a fantastic community, it sucks people are taking advantage of that goodness.

I am wondering... is there a way to start a list of some sort for participants who were dishonest? It sucks that something like this happened. It is definitely a rare occurrence in my experience, but a sucky one when it does happen. Good luck!
