Reason for Split: Another expensive misstep! Not without trying though. After many fussy mornings (that resulted in tardy work days) wherein I wrestled with integrating this gem into my outfit has slowly confirmed that we must part ways...Some of you Isabel fans may have seen Heidi Klum effortlessly sporting the cream in T magazine. (sigh) This was my way of getting around the leather jacket look (as it happens leather jackets also feel very unnatural on me) and I simply do not have the moxy to pull off the fitted boucle jacket either. The subtle variations in tone built in the weft and warp of the bouclé fabric made me fall in love with it at first touch. While the fit is perfect, like a cardigan only smarter. Great to dress up or down. I thought of it as a more edgy and youthful Chanel suit jacket. I hope someone will give this the wear I could not give to it!

Photo credits: The lovely and always chic blogger deadfleurette is sporting the Elali, (please look at her blog, love her!) a little more prim version of this jacket, while the e-com image is from Net-a-porter
