This bag was made in New York City, when Coach first started making Bonnie Cashin-designed purses. (They stopped manufacturing bags in NY in the mid-1970s.) This well-loved 35+ year-old bag has some stains and marks (I've tried to photograph them all), but the leather and stitching (including the strap) are in great condition overall. The main spots are on the top front of the bag (visible in #2), and some spots on one side (last pic-- the side spots are not visible when the bag is in use, and look worse in the pic than irl). There are no tears or worn-through spots. I cleaned this bag very thoroughly (following instructions from the Purse Forum) and have given it 3 rubbings of Lexol Conditioner. It has turned out to be just a little too small for me to use regularly, so I'm hoping someone else will use and love it more.
Description: The bag has a plain long flap closure, and one front slip compartment and one interior zipper pocket. The inside of the bag is in very clean condition. The strap is adjustable so it can be worn as either a shoulder bag or a cross-body bag. The stains and marks on the leather are not very noticeable in day-to-day use and aren't unusual for a bag this age.
Color: British Tan/medium brown shade (patina'd).
Measurements: 9"h x 10"w x 4" d; strap measures 36".
Asking: $30.00 including shipping in the U.S. Listing ends in one week.
