I went a little nuts when I started my first job out of law school, thinking that I had to look "just so" to appear in court ... then I realized that family court is the wild west of courtrooms and I can wear anything I used to wear so long as I throw a blazer over it.
So the very lovely super 120s navy suit-dress has gone unworn - tags still on and everything. It has a lovely drape with a surplice top (with decorative sewn-in folds) and a pleated faux wrap skirt.
Jcrew says about the super 120s merino: Fashioned in our four-season Super 120s merino wool. Why so super? 120 is the measure of the yarn (the higher the number, the finer the yarn), and since 120 is one of the finest, our fabric boasts a silky-smooth finish and refined drape.
