Hi all, I bought this dress on sale. It fits fine and is this wonderful thick tweed that you'd expect of a vintage dress without the strange fabrics mixes, musty smells and that is actually designed to fit the contemporary body! It's fully lined and would be perfect for fall, layered with the season's cocoon coats and tights. I never wore it over the summer because it would have been too hot. So it's brand new with tags. It retailed at $458, I paid half of that.
There's a great banded hem, and the dress zips up the back and features a hook and eye closure.

below: darts allow this dress to have a very slight bubble-like silhouette.
below: puffy shoulders, banded collar and buckle detail on collar
Because the dress is lined, I would not suggest wearing this dress during the day in a hot climate (I live in DC - it's too hot for summer days here...). This dress would be fine for cooler evenings, but perfect for fall and spring (with vintage Ferragamos?).
This dress is made to layer with tights, and would take you into winter with tights and boots.
below: yay! Two semi-hidden pockets in front. I live for dresses with pockets.
Measurements: (measured flat, across with fabric unstretched)
Shoulders appx 15" (raglan)
Bust 36"

This dress is labeled Small and is true to size. My dress form is US 2-4 (depending on the designer), 34B bust and this dress fits the dress form perfectly. Still, it can fit on smaller frames as well, depending on your preferences. I'm a size XS/0, 5'4" 32-25-34.5 for reference, and it wells comfortably on my frame (but I prefer a smaller size.) The fit is up to you.
Labeled size Small. UK = 8 IT = 40 FR = 36 US = 2 - maybe 4. See measurements to be sure.
