Isabel Marant Etoile Cocoon Jacket, black

This listing is on behalf of Leanne P.

Here's the text of the original listing by Nevermind from Sunday, Jan 17:

Isabel Marant Etoile Cocoon Jacket, black

"This coat was bought almost 3 years ago for about $500 (Isabel Marant was cheaper back then!) and worn no more than half a dozen times. It is in perfect condition with two caveats:
1. The hem of one of the sleeves is coming down (it was like that when I bought it). Easy fix.
2. I wore this with a fluffy scarf a few times and so it needs a once over with a good lint remover. No biggie, but I thought I'd mention it since my sticky roller seems to be utterly useless.

Size 1: this was the smallest size available, but due to the cocoon shape, I think this coat would be good for sizes xs/s through to medium. The shoulders are rounded and undefined, it has wide and long bell sleeves, and the overall length of the coat is 26 inches. I would provide other measurements but I think it is pointless because of the "unstructured" structure of the coat. It's a cocoon shape and so onesize fits all, pretty much.

Material: very thick, warm and durable. 70% wool, 30% polyester. Unlined. One leather-wrapped button at top of coat, hidden zip, two leather-wrapped buttons at sides. Spare leather-wrapped button sewn onto fabric label inside.

Asking: $130, plus $15 for US shipping."

This would be my information:

This jacket is indeed awesome, and I wish it looked as good on me as the original poster. Sadly, it just doesn't look quite right on my frame, so I am reluctantly re-listing this. I stitched the loose sleeve hem and gave it all a good go-over with a lint roller (though the inside needs a little more brushing).

I am asking $130, but will include shipping in the U.S. for the price.

First person to leave their e-mail gets the jacket!

This jacket looks great but I'm a little concerned about if it will look good on me. I'm about 5'4, with broad shoulders and no bust. I normally wear an M or size 8. You said it didn't look good on you- would it look similar on me?

I'm not sure what to tell you. I love the way cocoon jackets look, but I now know I need something with a belt. (The jacket does actually look pretty cute with a belt.) I am more than an inch shorter than you and don't have especially broad shoulders. Did you look at the original poster's modeling picture? That might help.

I think could work. I never wear belts with my tops. I'll take it!
