{congrats, Tien-Ann!}
I’m letting go of this gorgeous Virginia Johnson oversize wool shawl because unfortunately it just doesn’t quite fit with the other pieces in my wardrobe. It’s a lovely, lovely shawl/scarf and I hope it finds a new home soon! This is a design from her fall 2008 collection, and you can wear it a zillion different ways: as a knotted scarf, draped scarf, chic shawl, and, best of all – as a multitasking airport wrap blanket for those chilly flights! Virginia’s designs are always one-of-a-kind, sustainably and ethically produced – true collector’s pieces for your wardrobe :)
Materials: 100% silkscreened midweight merino wool (a heftier knit) from Kashmir, India (not the lightweight gauze wool in the current collection)
Measurements of piece laying flat:44” (W) x 82” (L) – the shawls are really huge! One of my favorite aspects about them.
Condition: virtually brand new without tags, worn once.
Paid: $132 on sale from virginiajohnson.com (orig. $195)
