Cherries and Dogs (!) Brooch Handmade

I'm emptying the trinkets, collected over many years of traveling, from my jewelry box.

These are little things I hope someone can find a use for. And in any case, I have to do a big mailing next week.

This is a lovingly handmade brooch features a well-groomed dog nestled comfortably in a bed of over-sized and loose cherries. Yes, you heard me right. The dog is posed in a bouquet of red cherries.

The person who made this clearly had a lot of fun it; it is signed and in perfect condition. Now I would like to find the person out there who could appreciate it more than I!

Styling notes, while I think it would look fine pinned onto a sweater as I have done, I think it would be even more fine to pin the brooch onto a structured punk rock-style eighties dress. Or on just about any cardigan, purse or tote bag!

Have fun with this.
