Lovely leather tote bag by Pollux Handmade. Thick, pebbled ivory leather with dark brown handles and strap closure. This is the kind of bag that will last forever, both in terms of style and quality. Very sturdy and well-made without being heavy. The perfect tote for Spring. Unlined with one small inside pocket. Size = 14" x 13" x 2".

As you can tell from the photos, the bag is extremely clean on its front, sides, and interior. The only cosmetic flaw is a patch on the back side where the bag rubbed against dark denim. You cannot detect this when the bag is worn right side front.

Beautiful Riri bag by the now-shuttered Jane Mayle line. Rich, slightly textured black leather. Bag is in excellent, near-pristine condition as I only wore it out a couple of times. Even though I adore Mayle, I've realized this bag just isn't really my style. Hopefully it'll find a good home here.

Moving to Facebook?

In an effort to streamline the process and create a closed LoGE group in which all members can post without going through a wait list, I am seriously considering moving this blog to Facebook. There are both benefits and disadvantages to this format (not a huge fan of FB in general), so I would appreciate feedback in the comments.

A few things that have concerned me lately:
Non-payers
Repeat posts of same item before listing has ended
Items that do not fit with what I assume to be our shared aesthetic (i.e. fast fashion, major mall chain stores)
My lack of free time to manage the site effectively

A closed FB group would have the benefit of an unlimited number of members who can post and comment as they please. The site does move very quickly, however, so the problem of listings being buried would continue.

nanette lepore black pants 6

Nanette Lepore black calf/ankle length pants size 6 - fits true to size. I purchased these about four years ago because I needed a pair of nice black pants but haven't worn them for more than a year. In great condition. The fit on these is really great and quite flattering - and a perfect length for spring/summer too. I'm 5'2" and these hit me a little above the ankle but I think the fit was intended to be about mid calf for someone a bit taller.

These are super chic and comfy shoes from Matt Bernson. I like how classic the shape is, and that the leather is kind of rumpled and worn in so that you don't have to break them in. I'm in the process of a serious paring down of my shoes, and I have a pair of these in brown that I wear more often.They are a wonderful and more affordable alternate to Dieppa Restrepos in my opinion.

I've worn them maybe 5 times and the bottoms of the soles show some wear, as well as a bit of wear on the bottom of the outer heel areas from a 2 mile walk around the neighborhood.

Tsubo Red Acrea Pumps, size 7.5 *SOLD*

I bought these while having a fling with the idea of wearing lots of high heels. These are cute and comfy shoes but I honestly just don't wear heels very often. These have only been worn twice. They are in excellent condition, and very clean inside and out! I purchased these directly from the Tsubo website for $125 in 2008.

From the Tsubo website: This sculptural pump is an unexpected twist on a classic women's mary jane. Smooth leather upper, a rounded closed toe with center seam detail, rolled edges for a clean look, and wide heel sling strap. Asymmetrical hook-and-loop instep strap with stitching accents. A.P.C. denim dress S/S 11, size M

i bought this dress at Stel's in February. they only had a Medium, but I wanted it so badly that i bought it anyway. it fits me in the shoulders, but it's too voluminous in the top for me when belted. i'm usually a Small in a.p.c. dresses. i'm looking to sell so i can order it in a Small online. if you have a Small, i would also be willing to do a swap.

100% cotton. it's called denim, but the fabric is actually very light and soft. i think it's one of the most versatile dresses i own, and really a classic shape. a.p.c. apparently thinks the same because they also made two silk versions.

A.P.C. Light Coat, Khaki/Camel, Size 38

This is a light unlined coat by A.P.C. The color is khaki (or camel, same as the A.P.C. trench coats that come every season). The material is cotton. French size 38 (S/M).









I've had this for a few years, but always end up using my A.P.C. trench in the same color.

One of the buttons came off and has been sewn back (The coats fit great and are really well tailored, but I've always had issues with A.P.C. buttons coming loose...)
