[SOLD] Black Sonia Rykiel Wide Leg Pants

This is a pair of black knit wide leg knit pants from Sonia Rykiel Paris. The details on these pants are incredible, and they are so comfortable! They retail for $910, and are still in great condition, only worn maybe a dozen times.
They're marked a size 40 (which fits like a small or medium, the waist unstretched measures 27" (fits up to 35"), total length is 35.5". They are slightly cropped, I'm 5'8" and these fall right above my ankles.

Classic Balenciaga Trousers Full Leg "jeans" Styling size French 36 (2)

Hi all,

These are the classic Balenciaga trousers with a seam down the front of the leg. There was a point in my life where I had these very pants in wool (for winter, in the office), corduroy (summer!), beige linen/cotton (spring!).

So, I went a little overboard. I bought these, and because I broke the zipper before I even had a chance to wear them, never repaired them, I never wore them. They still have the tag from Barneys in them ($199 on sale from $425.)

Balenciaga is, these days, so expensive I don't even bother to walk that direction in the store.

Here's a review:

Condition: the zipper needs to be replaced. They are brand new (with tags and everything.)
Material: 65% cotton, 35% flax (would one call this a type of twill? I'm not sure...if you know, please write it in the comments!)

Cordani Riding Boots, Size 37

Elegant Cordani Riding-style Boots, Made in Italy, Size 37 (6.5-7). These are new, never used. Excellent tread on the soles, great for walking or mucking about. I would caution that the boot shaft is rather narrow, so if you have skinny legs this will hug them well. The color is a rich mahogany that s burnished slightly red in areas, which lends character and so stunning in person. I do not have skinny legs and bought them final sale online, which is why I'm reselling them.

Gorgeous Celine boots, size 6.5 C, Made in Italy. Slip-on, with wrap-around belt fastens. Classy, tough and polished look, seriously high-heeled at 3.5 inches. You'll be surprised at how soft and supple the leather is, and there's very little wear except for on the bottoms of the soles (I didn't wear them often). Great for wearing with jeans tucked into boots or with a matching miniskirt and tights. I hate to give these up, but I need to downsize and I have 5 pairs of brown boots already.

Got a new coat for Christmas and letting go of this one from last year that I've only worn four times. (Literally!)

It's a J. Crew double-cloth, double-breasted coat in a size T(all) 8, style name "Marie" and the catalogue color is called "majestic purple"-- which looks to me to be a purple-ish blue. It is a lovely, saturated hue; you'll stand out from the other winter coats. (P.S. - In my opinion, it's a spring/fall coat-- or a Southern winter coat-- I would not wear it during an NYC winter.)

Here's what J. Crew says about it:

I'm about 5'9.5" and it falls to mid-thigh on me. The sleeves are raglan (as mentioned in the J. Crew description), which means they're a bit more generous with the shoulder cut (and also harder to measure), but I've provided the best measurements I can.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Jeans medium weight denim. Size 2

Hi all,

For those of you who have discovered that you're the same size as I am, these Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans, purchased from the Marc Jacobs boutique on Mercer St. would make excellent "boyfriend" style jeans.

For the sake of comparison, I wear a size 25 in Acne and 24 in most all other jeans.

My friend at who worked at MJ talked me into cutting off the hem, which seemed liberating then, but you would probably want to have them hemmed now (unless you plan on wearing them rolled up as I am in the photos.)



These jeans have a permanent crease "marked" in them.

My favorite details? They have plain back pockets, no labels (unlike the bells and whistles of current MJ jeans), the slight boot cut doesn't look wrong at the moment but if you think it does, they look great as "boyfriend" styled jeans.



Why am I getting rid of them? You guessed it. I have a pair in size 0, too.
