Kookai leather belt with big buckle

I got this belt at Kookai in Paris two summers ago, but I have never worn it- at the time I was really obsessed with buying belts and kind of went overboard while I was there! It has a really great deep navy color and large tan plastic buckle. All leather, made in Italy.

Item/history: Built by Wendy top. I got this here last month, and was disappointed to discover that it's quite a bit too big for me. I love love love this print, but with the voluminous fit, plus the flutter sleeves and my toothpick arms, I feel like I'm swimming in it. Hoping it will work out better for someone else.

Details: Very cute red and navy arrow print. Cream with navy trim square neck. (Don't let the weird pinkish-orange afternoon light in my photos fool you - check the photos in the original listing for better color accuracy.) 100% cotton.

Size: Small - but as I said, the fit is generous. Bust, flat across front 19", Length 31".

Condition: Good. No spots, stains, holes, etc. that I can see. The navy trim looks like it may have faded a little in laundering, though I'm not sure. Nothing too major.

Grey Ant silk tunic dress

I have a Grey Ant tunic dress I bought on Shopbop.com a couple of years ago. It is made of a beautiful dark grey silk, with a big V shape on the front (or the back, I wear it reversed) in a slightly lighter shade of silk, with a small tie closure. It retailed for around $400, I bought it on sale for about $150. Worn about a dozen times, dry cleaned once, a couple of small slightly darker stains on the V section (barely noticeable). Marked size Large, fits very open.

SOLD! Te Casan Blue Suede boots-- US 7/7.5

Te Casan was a Soho shoe boutique whose designers were alumni of the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Dries van Noten, John Galliano, etc. All of the shoes were handmade in Spain and produced in limited numbers of about 200 pairs in each size. It sadly fell victim to the recession
and shut its doors in October.

The color of these boots is a vibrant, royal blue-- more intense than the photo here. The soles are crepe (very comfy). I wore them about a dozen times (I bought a shorter version of this boot in another color and ended up wearing those more). They are in perfect condition.

Size: Spanish 38, which is a US 7/7.5.

Retailed for over $300, bought in a sale for around $200.

This is a really cute swing jacket from H and M -- very Marc Jacobs in styling. It's a double-breasted cotton jacket full of cool details: slit pockets in front. Buttoned wind flap in back. The body is A-lined and the sleeves are full. There is also a single vent in the back.

Condition: excellent pre-owned condition. I have hardly worn this jacket because I bought one very similar to it at the same time. This one has not been worn nearly as much as it deserves. As you may know, H and M clothes will sometimes look older than they are since they do not press or use lint roller on their clothes before displaying them. I will press and use a lint roller so that it'll seem new once you receive it in the post.

Sigerson Morrison "pixie boots" w/ perferated leather sz 7.5

Hi all,

These are fantastic Sigerson Morrison "pixie booties," I bought these because I had (2, natch) pairs of the flats that I loved to death.

I think these boots are adorable, but somehow its shape just doesn't work with much of my wardrobe. I could not have worn them more than twice, really, and they've been sitting in my closet in their box for too long.

The leather is a burgundy perforated leather, all is hand-stitched, and there is a adjustable belt around the ankle. The buckle is silver. So cute.

Condition (in the interest of full disclosure): Fantastic pre-owned condition. 9/10 There are some very minor nicks around the heel. The heel point looks as if it has been worn twice. Leather sole. Quality/ make is superior.

Details: Lining in typical pale green leather. There are some red marks on the interior lining -- the shoes came that way and I believe that it occurred in the process of dying 0r detailing the shoes. In any case, they are on the inside of the shoe and cannot be seen. It's not an issue, really, but I took a photo of it so you won't be surprised. (see photo #4)

Will come in original box.

Size: 7 1/2. I wear a straight 37 or 37.5. These fit me, but are definitely a true 7.5 length, medium width.

[relist, reduced] Rare Balenciaga Hi-Top Trainers/Sneakers Mint w/ Box sz 37

If I were asked which of the items I'm editing from my closet I recommend the most as my most "special-ist" things, I'd mention these Balenciaga sneakers, the APC tartan cape, the Miu Miu dress shirt I just listed, and a Development by Philip Lim moleskin stand-up collar coat (and the APC moleskin jacket that I've decided to keep after trying it on again) that I listed but will relist with images in which the coat is being worn so you see how it fits and drape.

Apologies in advance for any future amateurish "modeling."

I have been, basically, forever, living with the hope (or illusion) that I should be wearing hi-top sneakers. I have looked everywhere, tried everything, etc. In short, I have been desperate to join the ranks of people who look cool in hi-tops.

I have now come to the conclusion that there is just something wrong with my foot that makes it near impossible to wear hi-tops without my toes cramping up. It's pretty tough to come to terms with, but as a result, I am selling every single pair of unworn hi-tops I own.

This is the best pair of them all: rare Balenciaga hi-tops. So, so sassy and couture at the same time. Today when I was taking pictures for this listing, I realized that the hi-top part of the sneaker is lined in insanely luxurious goat leather -- the same leather used in the Balenciaga bags -- and I almost chickened out.

You can wear the top folded down, too, so that the cream goat leather is showing. Canvas and Suede panels. The top velcros shut. Just an insane amount of details...(the last photo of this season's white Balenciaga hi-tops was included to show that the style is still being produced, with a few adjustments.)

Condition: near mint. I wore these once -- ONCE -- and got a slight scuff on the left heel. You can see this minor scuff in picture three. (EDIT: I JUST PURCHASED A SUEDE CLEANER FROM MY COBBLER TO REMOVE THE MINOR SCUFF) Condition rating: 9.75/10. Comes with its original box and sleeper bag. These shoes? They just don't show up ever. Anywhere. I'm not sure, even, that they make Balenciaga sneakers for women now.

Paid: $380 at Barneys. It's Balenciaga after all. I couldn't resist the idea of having Balenciaga hi-tops!

I posted these a while back, and I am re-posting because I think they they are actually a fantastic deal and that someone could really enjoy these. They are from the signature (main) not Marc by Marc Jacobs line for which I am embarrassed to say that I paid $425. (They weren't on sale - yikes!) Unfortunately, I wore them once to an indoors party, to which I walked a block from my apartment, and I realized that I had been talked into buying a pair of shoes that was a half size too small for me simply because I wanted them so badly.

These are quite sweet burgundy Marc Jacobs kitten heel sling backs with ribbon trim woven as a border. They are made of incredibly soft leather. There is almost no wear to the heel.

They are Size 36.5 and they run true to size.

Made in Italy

Condition: slight wear on soles. Almost no wear on heel! No scuffing on toe. Worn once.

Imperfections: there is a minor stain on the toe of the right shoe. I think it simply needs to be cleaned with a leather cleaner/polish but I have yet to try. If you look hard in the first photo, you'll see it's nearly impossible to see...it appears as a darkening in the leather. But it's for this reason I'm asking so much less than I paid. -- EDIT: I took this to a cobbler to remove the slight stain and it is now 98% gone.

Heel height: an easy 2"

This is such a great shoe. Whomever gets them will undoubtedly love these since they are so comfortable (if only they fit me...) I am really, really trying to reform my shopping ways. I think this is a start, and I feel fine about passing along shoes to someone who would love them.

"Member's Only" style windbreaker from H&M Sz 34. XS

I bought this fantastic updated Member's Only 80s style windbreaker when I worked in Spain and H and M was the only game (or affordable) game in town. Green is one of my favorite colors. The color doesn't work for everyone, but I don't think enough people give it a chance!

I probably wore this twice in Seville (it was too hot -- I was there from April to September!) I accidentally left it in my apartment in Chicago after I moved to DC so I haven't worn it since. As a consequence, it's essentially unworn and in perfect condition. No rips, stains, tears, etc.

Material has a silky touch under the fingers, not a plastic one. H and M is hit or miss -- you really have to be careful in there because so much of the stuff is not made well, but this one passed the quality test with flying colors. (The interior seams are bound, for example.)
