When the APC madras spring/summer 2009 collection came out, I was undecided about most of it, except for this jumper, and its matching skirt and cape. I really liked the simple and nautical feel of it, and thought up tons of ways to wear it without looking like a 4 year old. Then Alexa Chung wore it on her MTV show this summer, and it was blogged about everywhere. Unfortunately, I've only worn it once because I think my chest is just too big for jumpers like this, but it sure looks cute on other people :)

About me: I am currently studying abroad in Copenhagen and will be going home in about 10 days. When I return, I will be signing my first apartment lease, which means my annual/never-ending closet purging will be more crucial than ever. Despite the fact that I have made a vow to not buy new clothes for a year, my closet is still the size of a small country, rather than the carefully curated selection of loved pieces that it should be. As the UN climate conference has already started, I can't help but feel guilty for my excess of consumerism over the past years. But what to do with all of the clothes I've amassed? Well, finding them new homes with people who will wear them well is about as good a sustainable model I can think of :)

Cozy J.Crew Fair Isle Sweater

I bought this J.Crew fair isle sweater a few years ago because I thought the reindeer pattern was great, and I loved the cozy wool fabrication. It reminded me of those awesome vintage sweaters that are impossible to find in thrift stores these days. It's a deep, dark green with sky blue and white patterns on the front, back and sleeves. Unfortunately it's too small for me, so I have to let it go.

Style Description: 98% Lambs wool, 2% wool sweater with awesome reindeer fair isle pattern. Fitted. I used to wear it with a plaid skirt and vintage boots.

Classic Black Camper Slip On Shoes 38/7.5

Item: A classic pair of Camper slip-on style black leather shoes with a low 1/4" inch heel and flat (treated leather soles, not rubber like some Camper styles). I can't remember the name of this style but it's one that they regularly make. I have an older pair that I have worn for many years and have had resoled a few times—I bought these as a replacement but can't seem to give up the old pair (they are perfectly broken in!). But anyhow these are a very sturdy and comfortable pair of shoes that will last a long time.

Tocca Wool dress

I was the lucker winner of this Tocca dress about a year ago, but have only found myself wearing it once. I hope that someone else will love it and wear it more than I did. The subtle stud detail around the waist and neck is pretty fab. You can dress it up and get a lot of wear out of it between now and February, depending on where you live.

{SOLD} Geren Ford Blouse - Medium

This is a lovely cotton blouse from Geren Ford (the original label, not UO). There is a subtle stripe pattern in the cotton and it is semi-sheer (I usually wore a tank or cami underneath). The collar is especially fun and can be worn up or floppy or down. i wore it a few times but think that it is time to pass it on to someone else who will appreciate it.

Up for sale is another vintage dress in my collection. It's a black v-neck spaghetti strap lace dress, fully lined, zips in the back. It's two layers so the lace is over a black underslip.

It's by a French label (Nouvelles Galeries Actualites) and is a French size 40; it's made of nylon and viscose. I actually like it because I'm long-waisted and this dress falls at normal waist; it may be a drop-waist on some other girls. The dress has a low-cut back; hopefully you can tell this in the pictures, it's just a straight-across cut. I'm 5'10" and it comes to just above the knee.

Measurements, dress lying flat:

I stalked this dress all summer long and patiently waited for it to go on sale. I finally bought it from Sotto Boutique in August but never got around to wearing it. It's new and never been worn.

Unfortunately, this dress just doesn't suit me. I've tried it on a few times, in vain, with other clothes in my closet. I've come to the sad conclusion that it just isn't flattering on me. I may have to go on the hunt for one of the tie-front dresses instead.

ACNE Black Suede Peep-Toe Ankle Booties Size 38 NEW!

You are looking at a gorgeous pair of brand new Acne peep-toe booties. These are hot, and have been photographed on celebrities like Rihanna and fashion bloggers galore. This pair has never been worn-- only tried on around the house. They are so cool and totally sold out at Acne stores, Opening Ceremony and Browns (UK) . They are real suede around the top and covering the heel and platform, with a stretchy nylon fabric onthe top sock part. Padded footbed makes these super sexy heels super comfy at the same time and there is a hidden platform (so they're high, but reasonable).

Description:Prairie Underground Hard times dress in the color "drab" size XS. 100% organic cotton, in good used condition. Two front pockets, back zipper, and two draw strings to adjust the length. This is an amazing dress and I am sad to see it go, but I don't wear it enough to keep it, plus it is a little big on me now. When I got this dress I made an alteration, a slit in the bottom back so that I could walk a little bit more freely.

Size: Marked XS , could fit sizes 4-6. May be able to fit a variety of sizes depending on chest measurements, as that is the only fitted area of the dress.

The dress arrived, and it was (is) beautiful. It is extremely versatile: it can be layered, a la Susie Bubble (click on link!), accessorized with a belt, or worn as a simple summer dress. This was made as a Limited Edition of only 600 and each one is labeled with the date and item number accordingly-- the photo of the label is blurry, but you may just be able to make out that mine is "Item 123."

I paid $185 for it on Yoox. They are still available on that site, but are sold out in size Small. As far as I'm concerned, this blog is not for recouping costs for things I have already wasted money on. I just want to inject some flow into my stagnant pile of hoarded items of clothing and send it to someone who will actually wear it. Item: This is an adorable jacket by Elevenses and purchased at Antropologie awhile back. It has a very subtle silver lurex thread with oatmeal-colored linen, peter-pan collar, 3/4 sleeves, and mother-of-pearl button

Material: 100% linen

Size: 2, I think it would fit in the range of 0-4 because the fit is relaxed. Measurements: 14.5" armpit to armpit, 20.5" back measured top to bottom

Condition: Used, but worn only a few times. The interior lining is slightly discolored (it's light pink) from the old wooden hangers I use. Pardon the wrinkles!

vintage Ferragamo Saks 5th patent leather pumps, 7.5

Here is a pair of fabulous, classic Ferragamo pumps that are a Saks exclusive! These shoes are elegant and classy - the shoes that you can wear for years and years. I bought them from an online vintage boutique, and have since worn them once. They are a bit too big for me, otherwise I would keep them in a heartbeat! These gorgeous pumps are quite a rare find nowadays.

Material: genuine patent leather; made in Italy
Condition: Few knicks at the inner heels and the shoes could use a new inner sole - they are coming out a bit at the toes (but in no way does it affect the appearance of the shoes), otherwise they are in excellent vintage condition. I also attached heel liners at the heels that were placed after I wore them out [in attempt to justify me keeping them, but they are still too big :(], which can be removed at request before sending them out.
