Traditional Polish Folk Mountain Shoes "Karpce" Size 6

Here is the story... I LOVE these shoes. I get a pair as often as I can, as they are made of an extremely soft and light leather with a hand-made sole and with frequent wear, they usually last about a year and a half (if worn as slippers they last a lot longer). I had a relative bring me a pair from Poland, but sadly they are too small!! They are handmade in the mountains, and have adorable braided leather throughout, a small strap over the foot with cute folklore prints.

Details: this is a brand-new, never worn pair of shoes/slippers. They are approximately size 6 (measured from the bottom sole: 9.5 inches lengthwise, 2.5 inches from the middle of the foot (the slender part). Because they are handmade, the sizing is not exact, but I usually wear a 6.5 and they are definitely too small for me.

I have included a photo of the actual shoes that are for sale (unworn) but PLEASE NOTE: the photo on the carpet with the sparkly socks is simply a photo of MY pair in action, if you will... The color changes with wear to a nice tan leather and they fit to your foot the more you sport them.

I am selling them for $20 plus shipping for $5 in the US. If outside of the US please let me know in the comments.

Deadline: Dec. 6th and I would send them out Dec. 7th!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Nike XS stretchy jean jacket with bright orange detailing

The back sports a pseudo-flame design with the Nike logo, and there is orange stitching throughout. there are two breast pockets. The orange buttons have the Nike logo on them too.

I got this jacket a while back, and have literally worn it ONCE. I simply have discovered that I never wear jean jackets!

Size details: 17 inches from armpit to armpit. 17 inches inseam of the sleeve. 20 inches from the top to the bottom.

I got this on sale for around $50 but would be happy to pass it along for $20 +shipping. Shipping is up to you: $11 for USPS priority, or $6 for First Class USPS. If you live outside the US, please let me know in the comments.

Deadline for this is Dec. 6th and I would ship it out Dec 7th.

[SOLD] Complexgeometries Long Binder Strap Tank Dress

Item: Complexgeometries long binder strap tank dress, from the aw09 collection

Size: size small, oversized drapey fit, so can fit sizes XS-medium, depending on how you want it to look
Condition: brand new with tags
Retail: You can buy it for $138on the website, but then there's a hefty shipping cost. I bought it for retail at Barney's Co-op for $148.
Asking: $100, which includes USPS priority shipping to anywhere in the USA. +$5 shipped to canada, +$10 for everywhere else.
Listing ends: Sunday, December 13th.

Big sigh. I've loved pretty much everything complexgeometries has put out since I first discovered the brand. I've coveted their pieces since seeing them on bloggers like Camille from childhood flames. I love the concept of clothing that you can wear an infinite number of ways. The problem with that lovely idea, though, is that I keep thinking this dress is to special for everyday use, so then I don't wear it at all. And clothes are meant to be worn, right?

About me: I am currently studying abroad in Copenhagen and will be going home in a little over two weeks. When I return, I will be signing my first apartment lease, which means my annual/never-ending closet purging will be more crucial than ever. Despite the fact that I have made a vow to not buy new clothes for a year, my closet is still the size of a small country, rather than the carefully curated selection of loved pieces that it should be. As the UN climate conference begins next week, I can't help but feel guilty for my excess of consumerism over the past years. But what to do with all of the clothes I've amassed? Well, finding them new homes with people who will wear them well is about as good a sustainable model I can think of :)
special note: I am not returning to the states until Sunday, December 20th. That means the earliest I can ship anything is the next day, December 21st (but I will be quick about it!).

Lacoste Polo

Item: Classic stretch short sleeved black Lacoste polo with single button
Size: US 6, French 38 ,a good fit for a size medium
Measurements: 19’ long, 15’ at the waist, 14.5’ from sleeve to sleeve (measured at the seam line of sleeve to bodice, not end to end), bust (measured flat) is 17' across directly under the sleeve
Condition: Really good! This shirt is like new I’ve only worn it a handful of times and it’s been hung in the closet when not worn.
Paid: It was gifted, but they tend to run upward near $75-$80
Asking: $20+ shipping

Letting it go because: This Lacoste polo has a short cut to it. I am short, but have a long torso. so this polo shirt comes about 2 inches too high on me. From shoulder to waist I am 22 + inches long the polo is 19 inches.

Lacoste is classic and so is a black polo. Black is definitely in this season, not that you can ever go wrong with black. I tried to use this polo in an all black ensemble, but because it rides up on me it looked ridiculous.

It’s stretchy, it’s comfortable, it’s versatile. You can wear it playing tennis just as easily as you can wear it to work, or out for the evening.

Maybe Baby

Maybe Baby perfume by Benefit.

The official description: Sparkling and flirtatious, Maybe Baby is a warm and inviting fragrance that captures a playful tumble of white blossoms. Like a wink from across the room, or a lingering gaze or shy smile ... it's a tempting tease.

Blend: sparkling floral
Top Note: apricot and white ginger
Middle Note: fresh water blossoms of cyclamen, lychee and bergamot
Base Note: white musk, Himalayan poppy and warm peach

Style: Flirty. Sexy. Inviting.

I totally agree with the said above about this perfume. It has been my favorite since ’04, I wore Maybe Baby exclusively for a number of years and it drove all of my boyfriends crazy (good crazy).

This Maybe Baby was purchased in ‘06. It works for day outings as well as evenings. It’s soft on the nose and while strong at first, once it’s on it is not overwhelming.

Working as a server it’s not good to wear perfume for various reasons. So, awhile ago I stopped wearing perfume all together.

It’s just shy of a half full 100 ml / 3.4 fl oz’s bottle. When the bottle is tilted on its side directly it appears to be half and half, but standing straight up it looks to be less than half.

Paid: $70ish
Asking: $7 + shipping

The bottle alone is exquisite. This bottle is also no longer available and merely stating that is making it quite difficult to part with it. Maybe Baby was the first scent produced by Benefit. Benefit is a fantastically well marketed company that is rapidly becoming more popular.

Also, I referenced Benefit for this posting. Maybe Baby is currently offered in 50 ml bottles, so this really is a steal.

My Maybe Baby needs a good home!!!

[relist w/ more images] Theory Cropped Jacket

Theory Cropped Jacket

Theory Cropped Jacket. Light beige velvet
.

Hi all, I'm posting this again because I think this is something that would be good for the right person, the right person not being me because it's too big for me. I think this will be the last thing I list for a while because I need to buckle down and focus on work.

I bought this though it was too big -- I hoped to alter it but never did. I think it would look fantastic over a dress or simply worn with jeans. I added photos of how it might look on. Keep in mind that because it is large, I pinned my arms down in such a way so that it wouldn't look preposterously large on me. That said, the jacket doesn't swamp me though I'm pretty small (I wear a size 0, xs.) I think that it could fit a size 4 - 6 though it's true to size and would fit 6 the best. The foolproof way to make sure it fits, of course, is to check your own measurements and to be in touch with me via the comments area if you have any questions about fit. I'm sure I can help. Just ask!

-Two pockets in front with covered plackets
-One breast pocket
-Tab in back
-Inverted pleat, darting for shape in back
-Cuffed sleeves, 2 buttons
-Slightly puffed sleeve

Measurements:
Shoulder (measured flat, across back): 15"
Bust: 19"
Sleeve: 11"
Length (front): 15"
Length (back): 18:

Condition: it's brand new, never worn, no tags

Paid: $119 on sale from $229 at Barneys

[SOLD] bread and butter striped jersey dress - S

{congrats, Liz!}
this is a flirty striped jersey dress i bought at anthropologie two summers ago. i have only worn it once, and as i'm stubbornly a jeans and steven alan buttondown kind of girl this dress has been in need of a stylish spin for quite some time. the material is a really lovely silky jersey, a great throw-it-on-and-go year-round dress: with simple sandals in spring and summer, and a slouchy cardigan layered over this with some tights and boots as a perfectly chic outfit for the current season.

H & M ruffle skirt - size 6

Another skirt which needs a party...this one is even more embarrassing as I bought it on impulse and never actually wore it.

Photobucket

Peacock blue ruffles from H&M...the photos don't do it justice, a) because the color is hard to capture and b) because this skirt needs motion to bring it to life, it would be fantastic on a dance floor.

Photobucket

The waist measures 14.5" when laid flat and the length is 26.5". The skirt is 55% rayon, 45% polyester, and closes with a zip and hook closure at the back.

I can't remember exactly what I paid...I think it was around $60-70. I'm asking $20 which includes postage to the US (payment via PayPal). Once again, the first person to comment can have the skirt (hopefully in time for a seasonal party or two).

French Connection ribbon skirt - size UK12

I wanted to post this skirt before the festive party season gets into full swing as this is a lovely piece that deserves to actually be worn.

Photobucket

Bought at French Connection in London for a party...worn once, to the party, then stored...until I came to the realization that this impulse buy is beautiful, but not for me.

The skirt is comprised of two layers; the outer is a sort of mesh netting, inlaid with ribbon while the inner is basically a built in slip. The outer layer is 100% nylon, the inner is 100% viscose. The skirt fastens with a zip at the side.

Photobucket

The waist measures 16" when laid flat and the length is approximately 29.5".

I paid...way too much...over a hundred pounds...so close to the $200 mark. I'm asking $35 which would include shipping to the US (payment via PayPal). Whoever leaves their information first can have the skirt.

J.Crew Argyle Cardigan

I bought this cardigan from J.Crew a few years ago because I loved the bright yellow color (it is brighter than the photos shown) and the lion buttons. I think argyle looks great when it's paired with unexpected prints so it's not so preppy. I wore it with a floral dress or with jeans and a printed shirt. I'm letting it go because it's a little too small for me now, and it's still in great condition.

Style description: 100% merino wool argyle cardigan with copper-toned lion buttons. 3/4 length sleeves. It is a soft wool that works great as a light layer in winter, or save it until spring.

Size: Medium

Measurements:
Shoulder: 16"
Bust: 15.75" x 2
Arm (upper): 13" around, lying flat
Length: 24.5"

Condition: Great. No pilling or holes, only worn a handful times and has been hand washed once.

Paid: approx. $79

Asking: $29 + $8 shipping/$15 international (Paypal only)

Listing ends: December 6th

Vintage Brown Tweed Swing Coat

See it modeled here (with more true to life colors): http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=13208447

I bought this jacket on Etsy last winter after a long search for a vintage winter coat with a fur collar that would fit me. I wanted something that was a little fancy, but could be dressed down and worn throughout the long Boston winter. This coat was perfect for that, except that I have just never gotten around to wearing it. Shame on me. In the interest of downsizing for an impending move, I'm letting it go. I still believe it to be a perfect vintage winter coat, nice and roomy but not slouchy or too casual.

Style description: Knee-length (or shorter, if you're over 5'4") brown tweed coat with four working plastic buttons down the front. Real fur collar (not sure what kind). Slit pockets on the side. Lined in a beautiful bronze fabric that's still intact.

Size: Medium/Large

Measurements:
Bust: 44"
Shoulders (@ widest point): 18"
Waist & Hips: open
Length from shoulder to hem: 37.5"

Condition: Great vintage condition. Never worn by me.

Paid: This coat was originally $76 but I got it on sale - I paid $45.60 + $15 shipping

Asking: $30 + $15 shipping (international rates will have to be calculated). This coat will be very bulky to mail, and it will be sent via USPS Priority. Paypal only.

Listing end date: December 6th
