CONGRATULATIONS, Carissa!

I purchased at Steven Alan a few months ago. i have not even worn this shirt. I washed it (because I like the rumpled look )and took out the tag b/c it was rough and itchy (it's not stitched in anymore). I put it on for about two minutes, and decided on wearing another white button-down. I have too many of these white shirts, and I need to consolidate the wardrobe!

The Steven Alan Reverse Seam Shirt is their signature style in white cotton. The characteristic details that set it apart from the average button down are a twisted placket, slightly tailored body, and French seams at the side. 100% cotton .

Machine Washable, shirttail hem, Made in USA . No imperfections -- the shirt is impeccable!

Sizing: I am a size 6, and this fit perfectly. I am not sure if it would fit an 8 b/c Steven Alan seems to run a bit narrow.

Purchased last fall from Creatures of Comfort, LA. Same sweater also sold on Totokaelo.com. I wore this sweater once for about two hours, but it proved too warm for the winters in Texas.

Condition: Perfect -- no stains, snags, etc. has been stored in cedar chest since last winter.

Measurements: Size M -- I am a size 6, and this fit perfectly. A size 8 could also wear this.

Bust: 20-1/2" flat

Sleeves: 21" (supposed to be slightly cropped)

Description: Crew neck with three button closure in back. 100% alpaca, handmade in Peru. Dry clean only. Charcoal gray alpaca with bits of brown, purple, maroon, yellow and moss. Rib knit on arm openings and hem. Craftsmanship is detailed, and there is variation in the knit stitches.

Condition: Gently worn...I'll iron it before sending it out!

About this jacket:

Of all the things I have to part with...this is one of my favorites. I just love the details: the red piping, the striped lining, the slightly puffed sleeves, the covered placket, the interior pocket, the fit, etc. The jacket snaps shut, but the snaps are covered with big Marc plastic buttons, which are then under the placket. Great detail...

I also added a little vintage bike pin to the chest, but the silly thing can be cut off!

It took a long time to work up the nerve to post this jacket, but here it is...

Condition: Gently worn. I just had it dry cleaned, so it's fresh as a daisy!

Imperfections: there is a tiny (2 mm) brown mark on the shoulder. It's really minor -- one only sees it if one looks really hard. A snap is missing at the cuff. I actually bought it this way and asked for $10 discount from the original, full price. Since I frequently rolled up my cuffs to show off the cool striped lining, I never had it replaced, but it's an easy fix.

APC - Very unusual top from Japan, with bow detail

This is a rare APC sleeveless tunic top with bow detail in the back that I purchased in Japan (I don't remember seeing it in the US.) The unusual aspect of this top is that it is made of a polyurethane coated cotton muslin which gives it a "canvas" texture. The treatment give the cloth a bit of a vinyl "effect" but is much more subtle and less shiny. The top is lined in cotton muslin. The bow attaches in the back and can be removed.

Condition: This top is new with tags.

-Warm light grey
-Bow in back can be removed
-Darts at bust
-Polyurethane coated cotton.

Size on tag says Small, but I think it could be considered either XS (if you prefer a straighter tunic cut) or S (for a more fitted style.)

H and M Striped Waistcoat, Vest

Whew. As you can see, I have *a lot* to clear from my closet. Embarrassingly, most is unworn - better reason to pass things on to someone who will enjoy it.

This is a very well made, structured double-breasted striped suit vest from H&M. I apologize for the self-portrait, but the vest looks completely different worn than it does on the dress form.

I bought it at H&M in Spain. It is a size 36 an XS but can be adjusted with a tab in the back. I am 103 lbs, 32 B bust and it is, in my opinion, a bit too big for me. Because of the low cut at neckline, could accommodate up to 32D or 34 C. Check your measurements well for best fit.

The zipper extends from the heel to the top of the boot so you will have no problems pulling it on. Vintage Fitted Velvet Pea Coat w/ Brass Buttons

Item description: Soft velvet or velour fitted pea coat with awesome vintage ball shaped buttons. Sadly, it is missing one button.

Dace Molly Rain Jacket, Size Medium

Congratulations, Stevie!!

this dace rain jacket is from spring 2007. i purchased it from Romaine, who won it in Erica's auction a couple of months ago. it was a little small for R. and me.

Worn a few times by Erica, but that's it. It's a gorgeous coat, in perfect condition.

Coat has been hand washed and air-dried, it still has a lot of life left in it -- really looks brand-new

details:(from Erica's listing) this navy jacket has all of the pretty dace details that i love so much. slightly gathered sleeves, horizontal stitching on the waistband, slightly mismatched buttons (white on the pockets, dark navy-purple down the front). it is also lined in a warm flannel-like white cotton, the outer fabric is also 100% cotton but has an interesting waxy finish. the hood is not detachable, and although it isn't waterproof, it does keep you dry in light showers.

imperfections:(again from Erica's listing) hard to say, but this jacket was worn really well for the past two years. it might have faded slightly, but there is no pilling, holes, or anything like that.
