Last summer I purchased several pairs of handmade cotton shorts from a local boutique. I believe these were made by an independent designer? I have never seen this line elsewhere. The material is a washed out batik pattern with dark batik pattern details. They zip up the back and are medium rise. I wear a few pairs of these in different prints but have a couple which I haven't gotten around to wearing yet, if there is interest shown in these, I will probably post the others.

Size: 2, I almost always wear a 2 or 26 in pants etc, these fit true to size.

Materials: 100% cotton batik, gorgeous and unusual looking!

[Sold] Printed 50/50 Tee, size XS-S

This is a 50/50 poly/cotton tee from Urban Outfitters. Tag reads "in love by 2 a.m.". It's labeled a medium, but I think it fits more like an xsmall/small. The color is accurate in the photos (at least if you have a mac.) I love the print, but I don't really wear printed tees anymore. It's been worn maybe twice.

I bought this blouse from Stand Up Comedy this past fall, but have been unable to incorporate it into my wardrobe since then. I think it's because I'm not sassy enough, since I just can't pull off the skinny jeans w/top look (thunder thighs, you see). And since I need to make money to pay off those dreaded student loans, I must let her go! The top is very structured, with shoulder pads, pleats emanating from the shoulders, and a "bra peak-a-boo" hole in the back (okay, that just sounded trashy. it's not). The hem at the bottom is also raw, and there are two panels of the fabric in the front, whereas there is only one in the back (slightly more see-through). Overall, a very free flowing top. The closet cleaning continues: Rachel Comey Carson flats, size 8. Brand new, in original box. I bought these from Stel's crazy end of season sale a few months ago. They are speckled, black and white pony hair and absolutely gorgeous. The only issue is that while I bought my regular size, these run a bit large and would be more suitable for an 8.5. I could make them work with inserts, but I'm too lazy. Somehow buying new stuff is less arduous than altering the things I already own. Sigh.

Madewell patent oxfords, size 8 -- SOLD!

The closet cleaning continues: Madewell black patent leather oxfords, size 8 (true to size), leather lining. I bought these last Fall and never wore them as much as they deserved. In excellent condition. The only condition issue I want to point out -- and it is a very minor one, in my opinion, but I wanted to give all pertinent info -- is that the heels are slightly pitted on the bottoms because I must have walked on gravel. Upper is pristine. Shoes will ship in a shoebox, though not the original.

Soundgirl thermal heart top

This is a thermal I bought a few years ago but haven't worn very often, though I think it would look quite cute with a denim jumper. All the trimmings and hearts (on the elbows) are made of a red cotton fabric, whereas the rest of the top is a multicolored thermal. Very comfortable and made well!

Bon & Ging Dress, size 6

Beautiful dress by now-shuttered, indie Los Angeles designers Bon & Ging. Size 6. Raw silk with a slightly textured hand, fully lined in cotton. On seam pockets, gorgeous stitched detail at bodice, and a cut-out back (sexy without being revealing). Super-cute with casual flat sandals, but also can be dressed up with heels for a summer wedding. I love the color of this dress -- it's flattering for all skin tones and neutral enough to pair with pretty much every color of the rainbow. Worn maybe 3 times; in excellent condition.

Dace dress size small

I purchased this lovely navy shirtwaist dress via laws of general economy, last August. Unfortunately, the shape is just not right for me, and the dress has remained in my closet ever since. It's a beautiful garment and in very good condition.

About Item: Adorable shirtdress from Dace, Spring/Summer 2008, I think. V-neck that is just deep enough (though not so deep that you would need a cami or anything underneath). Functional buttons. Slight dolman sleeves. Skirt is lined. Waist drawstring and side pockets! Hits a couple of inches above my knee (I am 5'6").

Color: Navy blue.

Material: 62% viscose / 38% cotton

Condition: Very good to excellent. Worn only a few times. [Please excuse the wrinkles from storage.]

Approximate Measurements: Small. I would say the top could fit a Small or Medium, though the hip area is definitely true to size.

Why am I letting it go?: I haven't worn this for about a year. Time to let it go to a good home.

Les Prairies de Paris Blue Shorts, size 2 [sold]

Les Prairies de Paris shorts (size 2) in a 100% medium blue lightweight cotton that has a very smooth, cool hand to it. There's pockets in front and back, with the back ones being very decorative and cute-- kind of look like tulips. There's a button-fly with nice brass colored buttons. My hips seem to be getting wider so I'm letting these go.

Measurements:
15" across the waistband
18" across the hips
8" rise
8" inseam

Imperfections:
There's a little hole at the bottom of the button fly as shown in the second photo. It happened after the first time I washed them in the machine. (Yeah, I was pretty pissed.) I still wore them afterwards several times because it's not very noticeable and it'd be easy to mend.
