Miu Miu Vintage-styled Flutter Dress sz 38, or XS

This is an "ethereal" Miu Miu dress -- made of gossamer cotton. The top is double layered, with seams running down the front and back to give it a vintage "boning" effect. The skirt (attached) is to be worn with a matching slip. The neckline is lace trim, woven through with velvet ribbon. Matching blush ribbon trims is at the waist and hem. The sleeves flutter.

I've just been staring at this dress for the last hour, seemingly unable to describe it. Mostly, I am having a hard time convincing myself to post it -- it was one of my biggest splurges ever, and I couldn't bear to wear it but once.

The idea behind this blog is not only so that we can edit our wardrobes but so that we can discipline ourselves through whatever small gestures right?

So here it is: a favorite, vintage-styled dress from an overly fancy designer that I've only worn once.

Be forewarned -- Miu Miu runs small. This Italian 38 is the equivalent to an XS, but be sure to follow the measurements to determine fit!

Measurements:

Bust 33" -- fits from A to full B cups
Shoulder (meant to sit slightly off-shoulder and measured flat) 16"
Waist (be especially careful here since the waist is tiny) 25"
Length 44"

Other details: zips along the side, comes with matching slip, black velvet ribbon at neckline, blush velvet trim at waist and hem.

Condition: mint
